Foley is deadly by foot I don't know which games you have been watching.

His hands are the cleanest since Matty Knights too.

Foley is has very good foot skills from what I've seen.

See I think hes a good kick 90% of the time but the 10% of the time he messes up, he really sprays it.

atleast when foley and tuck miss targets it due to the pressure of winning the hard ball unlike hyde and tivendale who are receivers and still ******** up their kicks

foley is a gun

Tivendale rarely misses...Hyde, yes he is a shocker at times

West is a classic centerman who generally keeps his feet. Foley is a classic rover whose main strenght is his ferocious determination and willingness to fling himself on every loose ball, hunt every tackle and spend half a game with his forehead buried in dirt.

Peter Bell used to be like that and still can be - not so much now he is getting on in years - and they have Josh Carr for the job. West was rarely like that - you don't waste your gun by getting him to play like that, you get Romero, Dimmatina, Liberatore for those jobs.

Foley is the player we have been missing since Tony Free and Chris Bond. Duncan Kellaway tried it for a year or two but his body gave way. Clinton King was actually OK for a single season. Fleming had the grunt but it hurt us as much as helped us. Sziller couldn't get the footy.

Still need your Brett Kirk, Steve Baker, Chad Fletcher, Tyson Edwards type. If anything I see Foley as being most like Edwards in time.
im glad you said bell used to be like that. peter bell gets 30 possesions a game 25 of which are running around by himself getting soft recieves and the other 5 are falling forward as soon as he senses contact from behind looking for a free kick. most sides leave him to his own devices because his hurt factor is low so he is going to get plenty of the ball. because he does get plenty the pill media and supporters cream themselves over it. imo hes been pretty average for the last 3 or 4 yrs.you also mention carr hes another whos supposed to be inside and never puts his head over the ball.

Deserves a bump. Leading the B&F surely at the moment.

Playing some amazing footy. Prepared to run and find the ball. Hes doing the lot.. probably need more like him at the moment.

Keep up the great work, Foley.

Has been great & continues to improve.

Can someone please tell him not to take a bounce after 1 step though.
Its probably a habit but it cant help with your peripheral vision.

seth

Foley has taken the next step this season. His work around the clinches is fantastic and his ability to win the hard ball is fantastic.

Imagine Axel and Cogs in the same team..... hopefully Cogs can get back to where he was :o

Apparently Polo missed a training session. Gee champ, got to keep the chin up a bit!

no biggie that polo got dropped, he hit back the best way possible BOG and showing he's CLEARLY above playing VFL again. The only thing he should get dissapointed with is if he doesnt get an immediate recall

thats what is going around on this website. anyone got confiramtion on it though?

andy collins said that polo wanted to get a good 4 quarters under his belt, instead of being taken on and off all the time like he is in the seniors.

id believe collins over a richmond board. Its legitimate grounds to drop him though. Polo is the type of player that needs to be right on top of his game mentally, whilst hes been nowhere near as bad as half the duds in our lineup, there have been signs that he's lost concentration in some games and the role that hes being groomed for (against the oppositions best players week in week out) he cannot afford to have concentration lapses.
