And considering we no longer have that compensation pick it's a moot point.

We traded the Bock compo pick to GC for a pick in the 20s(Elton) and the compensation pick Port received for losing Krakeour (sp?) which I believe is tied to Port Adelaide and where they finish on the ladder and will come directly after there second round pick.
Really? I thought it was end of 2nd round.

Hopefully Port don't win another game in that case.

Yeah it comes after there second round pick, which is why we want Port to finish as low as possible, we basically gained an extra first round pick (Elton) and downgraded by about 5 or 6 spots with our compensation pick.

Very nice, so it'll end up being around #25 area then?
In an ideal world yes, but with all these other activated compensation picks it gets pushed down a fair bit, most likely a pick in the mid 30s.
If they finish 14th then we get pick 29.

'Yeh!! lets give GC a dud who's been at 2 clubs, and chuck in an injury prone bloke too!!
GC will have no idea what going on!'
It's the Bock compensation pick RECORDS is thinking of that we received from Adelaide for giving then Tambling.

Nevertheless we don't have that pick anymore, we traded it to GCS for the Krakeour Compensation pick (second round pick tied to Port Adelaide's ladder position) and we also received a pick in the 20s which we used to take Todd Elton.

We have activated the compensation pick to be used in this years draft.

Lolz Carlisle for Foley. Ummmmmmm how about get ******. A future gun defender for an injury ruined mid who can't kick. Yep sounds fair.

On that basis how about Mcveigh for Cotchin

Carlisle is not on the table, at all.

Caddy has been underwhelming this year to say the least, if we do end up with him, i don't know what the deal will involve (certain it will involve our second rounder) but it will not involve Jake Carlisle. He will be the cornerstone of our defence for the next decade.
