He's fine, not even .01 mm of a tear, just a slight strain so the medicos have eased him back. Could play a game this week if it was a Grand Final, which he will eventually get to do for the Saints.
We are playing the long game, he has three years to get it right, by then he will be only 23!

Shit news. Hopefully it really is a "regulation strain" that will only set him back 1-2 weeks and they're not just saying that, I have faith in the club to be truthful about these matters though.

Even if it's a 1-2 week delay I'd probably ease him for an extra week after just to be cautious.

Picking up Freeman was like buying an unsound stallion at a yearling sale hoping you can fix their problems? Sometimes it comes off most times it doesnt and the jury is still very much out on Freeman. I think the Saints recruiting team have taken the 'no guts no glory' approach this year and have less than even chance of getting it right.

Saw him walking out of the scan / medical centre yesterday as my brother is a physio at the centre next door to AAMI Park. Had a bandage on his hamstring and was very down in the dumps as he limped out. Hope he gets better.

I doubt it was slight as his hamstring was bandaged.

What , so he was punching the air saying "darn it" as he was walking out ? or your brother knows him well enough to know that he looked down .

Not news I like to read about. Get well Nathan Freeman. Looking forward to seeing you deliver on your promise (except against us of course)

Yes. He was a physio at Wesley (1st's) the year Nathan played at Hailebury, knows who he is.

Of course you're not biased at all.

    Keep on potting, Harry Potter.

if Freeman plays its a bonus, let's be honest. He has time on his side, we have another three drafts to get where want to be.

Want it to be more than a bonus given the 2nd round pick given up. Still, risk/reward is hopefully well balanced. When is he due back on the track?
