Surely we have nothing to lose. It’s a feel good story that might get a few more through the turnstiles, there’s enough blokes who deserve a week in the VFL so we can find a spot for him, and given our ladder position vs where the doggies are, it’s not the worst week to have an honorable loss...

well before my time but i do recall some old timers telling be about a game in the early 60's where Carl Ditterich Ian Stuart and Bob Murray all debut on the same day.. aparently the anticipation for that was pretty high and the result didnt let them down either ....

I recall three of our players playing game 150 together against Hawthorn although according to afl tables it was only Murray and Ditterich with Mynott on 149. It may have something to do with the way they changed counting state games or my faulty memory.
