Meanwhile we have a full list
Our list has never been so well managed.
Grats. Hopefully we have a clean out at the end of the year, because our injury list since Davoren arrived has been beyond a joke. Literally our entire first choice defence is currently injured.

I remember Bucks saying I think it was last year when you had injuries that they were pushing the young guys to breaking point to get them up to speed and now and then one would break, I think they overboard

Yep. It's a training philosophy I don't agree with, and has not served us well.

Yeah well good luck. I wouldnt say Davoren is responsible for all of it. Swan couldnt be helped, but no co incidence our injury list has gone in opposite direction with and without him

Just joking btw, never like seeing players out with injuries. Especially young kids. Hopefully Scharenberg can get out on the park soon, I was pretty even on drafting him or Billings.

Yeah, impact injuries can't be helped, but our soft tissue profile has been horrendous since he arrived. And for all the supposed intense training we've done, we still don't seem to be able to run as hard for as long as other teams.

All good. I'm not here to troll and genuinely hope that Freeman can get back on the park too, if nothing else but to prove that our initial recruiting of him wasn't ill advised.

Don't think anyone could say that, he never had a soft tissue injury until after he was drafted

Some good Pies supporters around here parts. You'll ruin your reputation bud :D.

Just kidding. The worst are those kids that simply don't get a decent run at it all. This game can be very public and to be very exposed without outsiders knowing what the story is must be tough. As others have commented Scharenberg was always whispered to be high up on the Saints list (not sure if true, of course).

isn't that just extended squads tho cause saints seniors on the bench are also named? e.g.: ross on the ball and webster HBF

would be disappointing if white played dev
Yeah, you take out 2-3 travellers. Plus the 4 that were on the extended bench that play ones. No chance White plays Dev. He's been listed in the best twice in three weeks (or four?). Too good for that.

If you're going along to see Freezer at TBBO maybe stick around and watch Jack Trengove play for Casey for comparison. Hasn't played since Round 2 2014.....

.... and he's a Jack.

Just sayin'. ;)

It's not about him playing AFL level this year, I love seeing the updates on him though. I'll never forget on the day we were smashing Collingwood he racked up 45+ possessions in 3 quarters of footy in the VFL.

If we get him right, he'll be a star.

Interesting little snippet in that video about him on the AFL website... when he talks about the fact that he'd never had injuries before, especially soft-tissue. He wasn't drafted as a guy that had hamstring worries.

I think this is an interesting insight into why he was annoyed at the Pies. He feels this should have been nipped in the bud early doors, particularly at a club such as Collingwood.

In light of this, I think the mysterious case of "Hamstring awareness" is actually very smart. We are waiting until he literally doesn't notice the problem any longer, and any awareness means we lighten off. At the time, I thought that was a strange explanation, but now I'm really getting where we are coming from here.

Great to see him back on the park today, hopefully he can keep stringing the games together. I agree with jwikked... if we can get him right, star potential.

Would love to see him play 3 or 4 games in row and then have rest for 1 or 2
