That we do.
But even we have to draw the line somewhere.
basically what MG and stavro have continuously told us. good newsHave a mate doing an internship at STK who is a Sports Strength and Conditioning Trainer
According to him Freeman is fine, hes had no further setbacks they are just taking the most
precautious approach known to man, to ensure his hamstrings will be fine. He also quoted his
hammy's were 'strong'.
We shouldn't need to worry about Nath too much he'll get on the park at some stage this year and show us why
he was a top 10 pick.

Hes given away pretty much what the club has said about him so its not like its 'news'Cheers for that update, But maybe let your mate knows its not wise to disclose info about current players while being an intern![]()

Think it is OK DarkSaintYes I understand that, but its still not a good look esp as there might be official club people that read these forums. May not look good for your mate if he wants to potentially seek employment there that's all

Info is fine mate, nothing different to what's already out thereIts not like we have had access to non-publicly available information Richo said pretty much the same about him.
'He is going fine, and we are just going give him some time to get his body right'

Freeman aside why have the pies had so many soft tissue injuries/reoccurring injuries in last couple of seasons?
Is this something they have corrected/are looking into?
To put it simply Collingwood's sports science department isn't as good as it needs to be!
IMO, Collingwood got the talent ID wrong on Freeman and went early on him (we should have been all over the young man taken at 19), but comparatively Freeman is much more likely to stay on the park at St Kilda than he ever was at Collingwood.

Id say estimateThe WEST AUSTRALIAN newspaper has freeman out for 9 weeks with a hamstring is this right or just an estimate on their part
given that it was reported that they were going to be conservative and not play him in the preseason matches - that would mathematically hold up as a good estimate of when he will next be available to play. I'm not sure they want him to play round 1 - so it may even be longer. This is not a new injury, it is the club being ultra cautious with a special case. The WEST AUSTRALIAN newspaper has freeman out for 9 weeks with a hamstring is this right or just an estimate on their part
There was an article on Port Adelaide regarding the use of this hamstring test machine. It did say a number of clubs are using it so it would make sense that we have trialled Freo on it.have a mate at the saints who also says freemans hammy is fine. apparently they have this hamstring strength test which determines how much power is in your hammy during a contraction. normal levels are meant to be at about 300 (of the measurement, can't remember what it is called). his ''injured hammy'' reads 400 before training (i.e very strong) but after training it reads at about 150 (the other hammy reads about 300 before and after training). so apparently they are just taking a cautious approach to build up the endurance of the affected hammy so it is less susceptible to tearing when it is fatigued
