Or maybe I was wrong. It's plausible

It's hard to think anything but a setback. He already had a week off for the bye so should be good to go.
I am almost certain I would have heard by now if something was wrongJust hope he's okay.
A bit of digging suggests sandy didn't want a guy to play who was probably only going to play just over a half

What a great alignment this is.A bit of digging suggests sandy didn't want a guy to play who was probably only going to play just over a half

So two weeks off is desirable now?Meh, can't imagine the extra week is going to make any difference in the grand scheme of things. If anything it makes the comeback even more conservative, which isn't a bad thing, and hopefully stokes his motivation fires even further.

Hasnt he already been doing that? Isnt the whole point of him playing to get touch... but because of the cap and the bye he cant do that...NFI, I'm not a physio, but surely they can tell him to run up a hill carrying his shopping or something.

You dont see an issue with that? Because of some soft sandy egos
Happy to take couple hundred k minimum from us but want some shitty cap at the same time. What a jokeCompletely agree with you. Sandy management have been coming across as complete a**holes to work with over the past few years. I guess that could be because I'm viewing this arrangement as a Saints supporter so there is a bit of bias. Apparently, we screwed them over a few years ago and so, we got this stupid restriction on our players playing for them. However, last year it was pretty clear that our youngsters were levels above theirs and they were losing out by forcing some of our boys into the Dev League. And now this.
Stand-alone can't come quickly enough.
If he was 100% he would be fighting it out with Sinclair/Minch/Acres/Eli across the half forward line and through the middleWho would he replace in the current team as it now stands.
How much power does Sandy have in who plays?
Is it us or them that have final say in the Saints players playing for them?

I'm pretty sure it's us who chooses who they just have capped numbers. It's a dumb system having two teams aligned with opposite goals but it's not their fault. It was the AFL who tried to be cheap and move the VFL and AFL reserves together into one.
