I think we just mass cleared out after it all fell in a heap. Some went on like the Wakens and some like Heatley and Tria just drifted off into obscurity.
James Begley would have to be in the conversation. Remember stupid Tim Watson said he was our next captain and thought he'd be a superstar. His crowning achievement at anything in life was being a Cleo batchelor of the year from memory. Can't actually recall him playing Adelaide. Must have been good.
Yep because they weren't good enough.

Don’t agree, lots of players get pushed out when they were obviously good enough. A lot of the guys from that era are probably unlucky not to be StKilda immortals. We were injury and mental collapse off those guys being premiership heroes. A few were lost through new coaches wanting to build their own lists and the players getting the blame for poor on field results.
But they lost on F/S when his son chose Hawthorn to play for.Going back a bit, but what about Russell Green? Boy, did Hawthorn win on that one!
I wonder how many players get pushed out or can’t impose their talent due to clickiness??
Clearly George...What should I believe?
You or the coach.
You have two conflicting stories.
This is an interesting one.... my cousin was on two afl lists, playing a handful of games. His father said the clubs really pushed the players to socialise together, and I took it he felt that the fact my cousin didn’t click and had his own group of friends held him back.I wonder how many players get pushed out or can’t impose their talent due to clickiness??

Not sure that was the case... but interesting anyway.
Can anyone share any info on how freezer's op went? Did they need a tray truck to cart all of the scar tissue away?
Will be right for JLT 2 apparently so obviously pretty well. Can anyone share any info on how freezer's op went? Did they need a tray truck to cart all of the scar tissue away?

He's out for 2 weeks x 2 or 3.

Do you know if it’s 4-6 from training or would he be match fit by then?Surgery set him back a bit. 4-6 weeks now. Was told it wasn't as bad as expected. Got it wrong fellas, my apologies!!

I was speaking to a bloke who doesn't follow footy and doesn't even know who Freeman is.
He said he should be fine for round 1.
Sounds promising![]()
