In the equine world they have a bit of a bad reputation. Sort of effete, stuck up, pretty boys convinced their (rainbow) farts dont stink, but ultimately not very useful.

So basically the equine version of Melbourne.

Very good sir

"....we might just need some of their burst and athleticism over there in Perth on that big deck"

I hope someone has told Lethlean and co. that they no longer play at Subi!

I think he's used to the corporate boxes and rates them on the size of those. I don't think he watches matches when he goes to the footy.

i think he's referring to width not length....

I like you angle, a kind of psychedelic horse themed posting style that moves everything footy to discussions on mythical creatures. I think I had an omelette in Bali that had me thinking like that once.

Hmmm and I know what would make that omelette extra delicious.

An interesting take on hamstrings in general and specifically on Freeman by sven_inc on the main board which deserves to be shared here.

Food for thought.

Have a quick look at his Insta. You'd be hard pressed to find him in a good position in any of them. He's a tough one because his Hammies have had enough dysfunction now where they would now need to be more of a priority in terms of their specific function, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him have some cheeky low back/hip dysfunction.

Hammies can be tough because you can buffer them with lots of strength and conditioning and give the illusion that they are fine, but if the underlying back and hip stuff lingers then there'll always be some sort of risk.

Interesting on the Gary Ablett-affiliated "Exclusive Insight" page, he's posted a video of him training hard in the gym. The trainer specifically mentions how they've attacked his Hammies with more strength to combat his Tendonitis issues from his GC days... problem is is that he's had TWO hammy injuries in the last few months.

Strength alone doesn't solve these issues, but we seem to he obsessed with it. Dylan Shiels famous Nordic Curl was a huge display of Hammy and Trunk strength... but he's still had some Hammy issues regardless. We keep missing the point.

Id hope the Saints have gone so far down the rabbit hole with Freeman now that they're looking into absolutely everything... inclusive of his postures and trunk function.

Hope to see him debut soon!

Reckon 1 more then we make the call on the monday and come out and announce it

Would prefer he play next week against the pies tho.

On second thought, wouldn't that be a story...

Play him this week, as the old fashioned sub, bring him on three minutes after half time. We'll need something to help us forget the 2.7.19 at half time.

Richo can then put a positive spin on the freeman story in the press conference forgetting the continued 1928 vfl era of scoring. Positive and pleasing ...

Despite Nathan’s speed and tank he seems to prefer playing as an inside mid at sandy.

If we bring him in would he be in the guts or play a different role than he’s used to as an outside player?

Not necessarily. Probs could free up Stuv to be more outside and burn up the park. It's a fair question though.

We will bring in probably the most overall talented midfielder on our list and quicky turn him into a Half back or Half forward flanker

Who knows he was stupid enough to leave Dunstan out of the 22 Round 1 and play Acres all over the joint, give armitage games when he is clearly cooked.

Wasn't too dumb, only game we have won.
