I've never bagged the bloke on this board, but guys, IMO Buckleys comments on him leaving Collingwood hold some weight, he'll always have something wrong with him, and his injury will always be worse than anyone elses.

Freeman back this week, although Richo has admitted he is not 100%

He will need some kind of surgery on his shoulder but they are happy to wait until the end of the year.

Normally we would just do the surgery now you would think, but we are clearly just to get some footy into him. Hopefully he can continue to find the footy like he did before the shoulder and do enough to at least earn another contract.

Some people have a talent for self promotion and BD is definitely one of those . Unfortunately his incompetence may have finally caught up with him.

And i think Hamill has a fair bit more of an idea than us posters , it maybe only GCS as some are saying but its a massive step up from Sandy , sure we all want to see him play but i don't think he is ready and will eat lots of pie if im wrong .
We traded for him for his run and carry and of course speed , all his footy has been mainly an inside tackle machine mid, when he gets his burst speed back then i say play him , im prepared to wait until he is his right as id hate to see him go out there are look out of place

He's only missed two weeks between when he had nearly a month under his belt to now....he isn't starting from scratch. If he's gonna get injured again I'd rather it be playing in the 1s than in the bloody 2s again. Reward him, we have **** all to cheer about at the moment and it's one of the easiest AFL tests he could get. Plays, rest next week, then second half of the season in the senior side if he stays healthy. Makes too much sense but the club will probably be cautious and bring in armo for another 8 touches in the midfield when he's clearly cooked.
