Of course you're right in the main, St. Trav. These things are complex and there are many variables at play. My point is, if it was your business and your money at stake and the bloke you put in charge five years ago has made no progress, I think that not only would you be asking serious questions, but you'd probably issue the DCM and look for someone who could improve things. For all the talk that the AFL environment is a ruthless business, it isn't at all. Nowhere in the high end corporate world would a campaigner like TMBK get seven years at 600k plus for performing the way he has. The EPL is what I call a ruthless system.

Glad we are nothing like them. What about we wait for s review. Reckon the tigers and pies are happy they waited.

This theory Really Speaks to me!

Beware the thought police my man..

Can you prove it as fact?
The REAL question is can they DISprove it. #crazylikeafox

Clearly Richo doesn’t like him. Doesn’t want to risk players on our way to finals this year ...

I sense a Spencer Ehite situation happening where he plays last game and we never see of him again...

Or even when Ledger was playing reserves racking up 30+ possies and Lyon never played him. (Could kick on both feet that kid)

So which AFL did White and Ledger get picked up by when they were delisted?

Neither were AFL material, hence no other AFL listing

what is the player that went with our second rounder doing?

Willem Drew, the Power rate him but he's been out this year with a foot injury and has had season ending surgery, not sure he played in his first year. Signed for 2 more years. He looked good in his draft year.

How dare people post about chickens in the egg thread?

Meanwhile floods, famine and wars continue.

Well last time I checked, we have specific threads devoted to specific topics... It would be nice to discuss trades and coaching, yes?

There's a special little dedicate sandbox named the "Sack Richo" thread where everyone is welcome to drop their little turds there without infecting the rest of the populace.

I'm glad we're nothing like the EPL as well, plugger. The thing is, five years of no discernible progress tends to doom you to a decade or more down the bottom. The prosecution presents Melbourne, Carlton and Brisbane as evidence. Despite a decade of early picks, none of those sides have roared up the ladder, although the Dee's are finally showing progress. Still haven't made the finals for 12 years. Brisbane has some genuine green shoots and Carlton is a complete basket case (good old genius SOS). Combination of poor drafting and list management, poor coaching and development. Neeld, Malthouse, Leppitsch anyone? Where would Melbourne be now if Neeld had stayed? Watters with us? TMBK's appointment has only aggravated the situation and mess left by Watters. Look at Neeld at Melbourne. Nearly wrecked the club. How are the dopers going since he left? Sometimes you have to make the hard call. Five years is more than enough. As Matthew Capuano said about GT, "He couldn't coach a fart out of a bottle." I'm afraid TMBK is the same.

Well until a player says that about him id rather wait for the review and trust a guy who wasn't involved in his re appointment to make a decision.. I couldn't give a rats if he goes or stays because I have no opinion of his coaching. I do trust that SL will do a proper review so im waiting. Sitting on the fence.
