My missus reckons he's a dead ringer for a young Patrick Swayze. She's suddenly showing a lot more interest in the football. Let's hope the Freezer does some "Dirty Dancing" of his own, especially when evading his bulldog opponents. Congrats all round to you. My wife blows you a big kiss. Funny that, she normally couldn't care less who's in the team. Wait a minute................

I thought his first game was pretty good, looked like he had everything required to play AFL, yes some of his touches were just quick little handballs etc but I thought that when he did get the ball he didn't panic and went with the best option available which is about all you can ask for.
I was also happy to see Richo played him on the wing for pretty much the whole game, not wasting a midfielder playing fwd pocket like we have seen Richo do to some.
Keep Freeze in the side for remainder of the year now, let him get a bit more touch and then get back to work in the offseason
 
Saturday was all about being on the ground for the first bounce and walking off with the team after the final siren. Everything else was a bonus. We'll expect more next game and the game after that and the game after that and ...

Only 23, hopefully lots of good footy for him ahead.
 
He did well. Looked a little like gaff out there at times, into space, quick touch to someone in a better position to kick. He would've had 25+ if his leads to space were honoured but that's ok, the game plan definitely seemed to be about going up the middle so he and Sinclair weren't used as much, but he put in the work be an option for his team.

It's clear his top speed isn't there at the moment, I'm curious to see if he can regain some after the pre-season. He also looked like he really wanted to get into the middle and fight for some contested ball, but held himself to his position. It seems like he wants to be on the inside but Richo wants him on the wing.

I Hope he keeps his spot for the rest of the year and develops his game.
