Really .

Majority of time he has been put out of the way on the wing , again can play it but not his strength.
Sandringham play Seccull, Myke Cooke , Answerth in the guts before him consistently.
The few times he has been allowed minutes like against Box Hill Hawks he played well.
Good luck impressing in that current set up as Drake has already said that alignment is putrid .

Sandy rusted on guys I know some of them coterie , hate Stkilda in fact they barrack for Melbourne.
great alignment .
Who knows what Stkilda do with Nathan , Goddard , White given development is a disgrace.
Who the people at Sandy barrack for shouldnt mean squat but yes i understand the set up is far from ideal and i do agree that the development isn't the best at our club but not sure you can put Goddard and Freezer in that bracket as they have both had major injuries ,,,,, White, that's a different story
Anyway its only my opinion , i hope im wrong about Freezer

I understand dropping Freezer but the reason is stupid.

Not if it's the Etihad surface. If he broke down it would be close to the end of his career.

Probs his manager organizing his next contract this week... no game just in case

True that , maybe the club have a lot more of an idea about a players welfare than you give them credit for

Match Commitee wanted to play him for another half a game, overruled by the clinical team.

Needs a break from the etihad surface.

Then that's what they should have said it was insted of triggering folk

Enjoying your contribution to this board, Mitsuhirato....
I’m annointing you an honorary ITK :D

Which begs the question...why can’t they just say he’s being managed rather than omitted and p#$&ing off the whole supporter base!

Surely that joint has improved from cement hardness?

Players still constantly complain about the surface. Lots of them report pulling up sore with inflammation and achilles tendinitis a day or so after a game there.

Ryan Burton (Hawthorn) is one who constantly gets it also, his left leg (which previously had a broken tibia) blew up with inflammation even during the Draft Combine held there.

We are dead set bozos if we put 3 years of recovery, salary and a second round pick into this guy, only to de-list him just as he gets it together to play senior footy.

We have about 10-15 guys on the list who look pretty unlikely to make it, plenty of room for Freeman for another year at least.

Sign him up, it's a low risk no brainer surely?

From what I have seen, the choice between Freeman and say Ed Phillips is an easy one.

I can see why we would wait when we have so many pokers in fires at the moment. Hard to know how many spots we need open until after trade period.

In my mind the only certainties to be delisted are Wright and Minchington along with the already retired Koby Stevens.

we have 40 spots on the list we need to make at a minimum 3 changes to that list come years end ... with trades and retirements you cannot tell me that after all the water has settled that Freeman is in the bottom three of our list of 40 players

ill expect Gilbert to be on that list as a retirment ...

Surely there is no way we don't offer him a new contract. Who's spot is he taking? We put 3 ****ing years and $1m into this kid. He plays two games and shows signs and then just like that, back out of the team never to be seen again? I will lose the plot if we don't give him at least another year.

This club is ****ed

we took the punt, saw what he could do, you then re-evaluate and decide if he deserves another contract after that

what we did prior has little bearing on what we do now
