I guess the "more to this" is that we think he's not good enough for AFL. To be fair to Lethers (who probably made the call), nothing he showed in his two AFL games was particularly exciting.

Actually this is a possibility.
We've done it the last few years, delist just to get them on the rookie list.

But surely we would have announced that was the plan instead of this. Maybe have to wait for the Saints own announcement

Shame. Maybe a rookie spot, but maybe that's it. We aren't privy to the medical reports, and to see what happens internally. I feel sorry for the guy, and for us. Was worth a gamble.
