He only goes if we're confident of landing Aish.

Even then $250,000 is hardly going to break the bank so why not pay it.

We might have played a part in his injury with question marks over Davoren last season and his fitness program.

If he had got on the park then an offer of $250,000+ would have most likely been coming anyway.

It's a risk but for a top 10 pick who if fit has something we need in speed it's a risk worth taking IMO.

I've seen Bucks well and truly on the turps GF week when we weren't playing. Along with Lockyer and a few others.

Big deal.
Bucks on the turps! You can't be serious? Buckley is renowned for his sobriety. Ask Wayne Carey what he thinks of Nathan's party style. I don't believe you.

Isn't there a pretty well known story about Bucks getting pissed and stealing and crashing a golf cart when he was younger?

Dig it up and show me. I know nothing about golf carts, but if he did do what you describe, maybe that was what swore him off alcohol. You're telling the story - so elaborate. I'd heard that Carey thought Buckley a real party killer on some overseas trip. If the Hawks v Crows game gets any more boring , I will google my memory for accuracy. You do the same with your golf cart.:)

There was an incident down on the Mornington Penisula involving the club. Not sure Bucks was involved though.

Mate get a life. They're human not robots.

They are professional athletes. I am uncertain if you know anything about sports science, drinking alcohol when you are injured is one of the worst things you can do when you are recovering.

At most clubs, there are protocols with this. If you are caught consuming alcohol and you are injured, it's an act that results in suspension.

Go into more Detail as 1st I heard of this

So to want to suspend a player who can't play due to injury?

It was years ago. Just remember golf carts being driven into bunkers. I think it was at The Dunes.

Produce photos, articles or/and internet shit or it didn't happen.

FFS mate. I am sharing a memory of something that happened over ten years ago. Don't be a dick.

It was at Cape Schanck resort in 1995. Multiple gold carts ended up trashed at the bottom of a bunker after Jon Hassall discovered that the keys to their hotel rooms also started the golf carts.

Thank you. Can't believe it was 20 years ago. Shit I am old.

I know plenty about injury, recovery etc.

How do you know he was injured?

250k is relative chicken feed. If we dont pay that for someone that we invested a pick 10 on then he must be a ****** or something.

Divide the salary cap ($10 million) by the number of players on our list (44).

What number do you get? That's the ***average*** player wage.

Can't justify paying any player yet to play a senior game anywhere near that!

You're asking for photos and articles about a minor incident that happened in a time before the interwebs was used as a medium for news and current affairs. It's not going to happen.

If they want a normal life they should change industries and take a huge pay cut.

or become a lawyer or an investment banker and make heaps more money, do little work and get pissed all the time......you have to wonder about footballers decision-making sometimes

How do you know he was injured?

It was the weekend of the Melbourne game. I went out, saw him at a City establishment. It was when I watched the injury report by Neil Balme that he had a setback with his hamstring the following Tuesday. At the time I saw him, I had no idea he was injured.
