Just saw on the Fremantle Online Auctions site, Nat Fyfe match worn guernesys are seeing bids of 2 grand or more. The Anzac Day game got to $3,100.. Understand it's signed and worn by the champion himself, but that is absurd!

That is because it will be a jumper he wore in the year he won his first Brownlow and Norm Smith medals in our first premiership year.

It looks like good value to me.

I've re watched most of this seasons games this weekend and noticed that Fyfe is in a total zone of not reacting to any cheap shots.He actually looks like he is in a trance and does not seem to notice his opponent.He is totally transfixed on the ball and the unfolding game.Something I can't remember a player doing.Any one else notice this.

I've noticed that too. He's getting so much attention, including that shiner from the last game, and hasn't taken any cheap shots that I (or the MRP) have seen. My buddy really wants his brownlow

My son was telling me he recently had a relief teacher in Maths who was once Fyfe's teacher. She said Fyfe was so naughty she said, "If you don't pull your head in you are going to end up homeless." lol He's come a long way!

His cousin told me he always got in scraps and also hated being told what to do

That's the one, only evaded the one guy before taking it cleanly but ****ing hell. I love that's he's become this absolute freak of a ball winner but still shows that half forward flanker magic that we probably drafted him for.

I was Nathan's swimming teacher when he was in primary school. Chatting to him and his Mum at a function a couple of years ago, I mentioned what a ratbag he was and how I used to want to drown him sometimes. Along with a few of his mates! Funny thing was, they could be bloody naughty but were always polite at the same time.

Ps Since I just posted it on the main board as well:

When he had played his 104th game Ablett had 13 career Brownlow votes and a leading goalkicker award.

Fyfe has had 4 (highly likely 5) seasons with 13+ Brownlow votes (being ineliable but still runner up once after missing 4 games), 2 B&F, a Leigh Matthews Trophy and an AA jumper.

Has played more finals and a GF as well.

Amazing stats.
