What kind of girl goes out with a footballer and expects him to be as loyal as a Subway Jared pre-subway? Come on.

I heard he got suspended the week after he broke up with her, that off the ball hit.

Can't agree with this at all. Some blokes are loyal, some blokes aren't. Being a footballer (or famous) doesn't automatically put you in the unfaithful basket.

I've dated an AFL footballer and he was really really nice, and loyal, it just didn't work out for other reasons.

I think Fyfe is a babe. I also think Lachie Weller is incredibly attractive too. Weller is more classically handsome than Fyfe, which is more my type, but surprise surprise who knew that you could be attractive in different ways? Thanks for dictating who we should find good looking though.

Yeah but being a decent AFL player elevates you from a 5 to a 9.7. Even a rubbish AFL player still gets to an 8.5.

It's probably not that far fetched, especially if 'dated' refers to a one night stand. Can't be that bloody difficult if you're easy on the eye and prepared to make most of the moves yourself.

... surely you can't expect much loyalty. I know we all love our man here but lets be honest, he's a 23 year old super hot, super talented, super rich athlete. I'm not expecting Prince Charming here!

Well if that's what you(they) expect, that's probably what they're going to get. Why would you expect 'less' from a big sports star? I worked with pro-athletes in my day including some AFL players. Like all fields of life, you get all sorts. For a good number, especially the younger ones, they go through their later-teen/early 20s being treated as demi-gods and with 'reduced expectation' in all sorts of ways in how they should treat people etc. and they subsequently take that as the norm.

The smart people who happen to date some 'star' will hold them to the same account you would anybody else, it's ultimately good for them and how it should be.

Well I'm a 50 year old straight male and I think Fyfe is gorgeous looking. I've always had my eye caught by women with big lips, angular cheekbones and big eyes so I guess he conforms to type in terms of what I'm attracted to. I don't find Weller attractive at all. There is something about the shape of his face that doesn't work for me.

But thats the thing, its impossible to make generalisations about beauty because everyone has different tastes. Its how things are supposed to work for the diversification and overall strengthening of the gene pool. There aren't aesthetic rules about it.

I think thats true also of young men sewing their seed far and wide. Its biological as much as anything else. Certainly it was like that for me.

I was in a couple of bands that did alright when I was in my early 20's and had women throwing themselves at me and I took on all comers without the slightest thought of being loyal to any of them. These days I'm happiest in a committed monogamous relationship but I wouldn't change a thing about the past.
