I wasn't expecting Reilly for Cooney straight swap, because that would never happen. We would have to throw in a pick (most probably mid 1st rounder).

I would also do it. As much as I rate Reilly, Cooney is a better player and another bonus is that he is quicker and a local lad too.

Ryan was a character off the field but not on it.
Burton is not a "cult" character IMO.

Players these days are all ver professional - Adam Richardson could have been a character if could have played

Guys, Waters was taken at pick 11 and Butler at pick 20.

Instead of giving up heaps to get these guys back we should be looking at picking up others of this standard in next years draft.

Its easy to fall into the trap of trading for someone you have seen play as against someone you havent.....

If the trade can be done comfortably then do it.e.g a Perrie type instead of a high draft choice...but if your trading a pick 12 for someone who was pick 12 2 years ago then the dilemma becomes ...has the 2 years development been good or bad? A lot of factors will go into it
