Arnell joins women's committee

http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/2016-07-04/arnell-joins-womens-committee

Carlton’s Visy female football ambassador Lauren Arnell is one of seven female players to be appointed to a newly established advisory committee.

The eleven-member advisory committee has been established by the AFL Players' Association to manage the strategic direction of its female footballers ahead of next year's national women's league.

Same. Surely we can package both teams' memberships for a win/win situation.

Sweet!

My membership could deliver me double figure victories next year....

They're chasing women from all sports...very few elite female athletes have ever picked up a sherrin
I reckon Tas, Vic, SA and WA women are likely to have picked one up and kicked with family and schoolmates at least. They might not have had access to comps and chose other sport pathways where their talents could be applied.

That's the whole point right? Create something that attracts some elite athletes to the sport. The only problem is that chasing people from other sports will be at the expense of some people who have been playing the sport their whole lives.
