I like him and he has attributes that are particularly relevant to us, but i'm unsure about him because he hasn't been able to turn promising 15-25 possession games into 25-30 possession games enough. I know possessions aren't everything, but if you're drafting him to be a midfielder he definitely needs to find a way to be involved more. What do you think has stopped him so far?

It's not a fitness thing if that's what you're wondering. I'd say it's more to do with the way he plays. Cunningham doesn't get easy possessions. He's either winning clearances and weaving through traffic on the inside or breaking lines on the outside. Ideally he'd get a few cheapies to boost his stats, but you know the 20 disposals you get from him will be quality and actually help the team go forward.
