Definitely would be Ugly League. They don't even do out of competition testing for recreational drugs. Plus most rugby players have the intelligence and attitude of your average Gorilla. It seems like every week there's a new case of a rugby player being involved in a sexual assalt case.

To be fair the sexual assault cases are probably line ball with AFL and NRL. The NRL is far worse for overall poor behaviour.

Really?

I wonder how a bloke called Mitchell Sargent got caught last year.

IMO they are both (AFL and NRL) as bad as each other.
Rugby has some terrible people playing the game and would be number one by a true margin however the recent news has me worried for footy. I think we could go from the best behaved code to the second worst in a matter of three months.

The drugs issue has me worried and I hope Cousins never plays in the AFL again.

I don't know how you think the AFL is 'best behaved'.

It's probably the code with the best 'cover-up and spin' Dept. in the land, that's all.

Just looked him up. He was sacked in August (not "out of season"), though the actual date he was tested wasn't mentioned. You would imagine that the test would have been done a few weeks to a few months before he was sacked (he declined the right to a B sample).

On top of that, he tested positive in an in-house test conducted by the Cowboys themselves. The 24 players who have tested positive in the AFL were found out in tests that the AFL conducted. The NRL don't conduct out of competition tests for recreational drugs like the AFL do.

Try again :)

You said Rugby League doesn't conduct 'out of competition' testing.

Yet by your own admission, Sargent was caught 'out of competiton' by, *shock horror* his RL club. hmm....
