Enough's enough with this Nike template with its weird cuffs, big sponsor logos and super tight fit.

In this portfolio I'm going to be redoing every NBA team in a brand new 2000's throw back template, while keeping the template looking like a template Nike would actually use if they pulled their head out.

No sponsors.
No big Nike chest logo.
Back to Home jerseys and Away jerseys.
Baggy jerseys.
Baggy shorts.
A complete 2000s style overhaul.​

I might be in the minority but I love how the Nike era has looked visually. Still, I do see the charm in the era this is replicating, and am very excited to see your take on the Thunder seeing as we didn’t exist in our current form back then. Great start on the Jazz!

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of upsides of the Nike jerseys. I love like 70% of what they've come out with, but looking back at the 90's and 2000's, it seemed much better to me. The bagginess, the clean sponsorless jerseys, the normal cut cuffs, team colours being in the correct colour.

I'm a very nostalgia driven person that rejects almost everything about the current world though.

Also that Jazz design isn't final. Kinda just a look into the vibe I'm going for.

I think one of the things that might be exacerbating this is that a lot of us are far less clued into what NBA teams wear now and back then compared to how intricately familiar we are with AFL uniforms. I reckon a little write up with each entry that explains what comes from the modern era and from the 2000s would be super helpful to understand the thought process behind the designs.
Would still love to see you complete this, there’s a few teams that really intrigue me like OKC obviously, but also very interested to see what you have in mind for Charlotte and New Orleans given the nickname shift there, and Memphis who I think have super underrated inaugural uniforms (as in straight after the relocation, not when Vancouver started, those ones are widely considered legendary for good reason). Hope to see this continue!
