I have not had a look at the odds before writing this thread as the season kicks off in 6 days time.

My prediction for Western Conference on where the teams will finish:

1. Utah
2. Phoenix
3. Dallas
4. Lakers
5. Clippers
6. Denver
7. Memphis
8. Portland

My prediction for Eastern Conference on where the teams will finish:

1. Brooklyn
2. Milwaukee
3. Atlanta
4. Philadelphia (assuming a happy Ben Simmons is there)
5. New York
6. Boston
7. Chicago
8. Washington

think Memphis might be riser in West, Brooklyn look stronger depth wise than all the teams in the East.

I will however have a sneak peak at the Rookie Of the Year for 2021/22:

Odds from FanDuel Sportsbook:

Jalen Green 3.40
Cade Cunningham 3.40
Suggs 8
Evan Mobley 10.50
Scottie Barnes 14
Sengun 15
Giddey 17
Davion Mitchell 17

OK i just had a quick look and I missed out on Golden State in the West and Miami in the East. I guess those teams will be thereabouts with a fit Klay Thompson and Igoudala back. Look forward to see how Wiseman goes as well. Miami acquisition of Kyle Lowry gives them that feistiness around the ball.

i may do a mid season review based on what I have seen.

  • Golden State will be playing in the Play Offs
  • Clippers, Portland, Kings and Memphis will be fighting it out for the last 3 spots

West:

1. Jazz - Great additions make them better, add the home court factor
2. Suns - Home court factor with the exact same team
3. Lakers - A few injuries could derail this team, add the rest factor
4. Warriors - Will surprise many
5. Nuggets - No Murray, could drop further down
6. Clippers - No Leonard, PG will be jacking up shots
7. Grizzlies - Look good on paper
8. Kings - Surely this is the season they make playoffs again

  • No chance Washington make the Playoffs with a strong East

East:

1. Bucks - Rightfully #1
2. Nets - Injuries could make them slide further down, lot's of veterans who will sit games
3. 76ers - With or without Simmons
4. Bulls - Had the best FA period in the NBA
5. Heat - Will be around the mark once again, Jimmy Buckets needs to validate himself
6. Celtics - Schroder and Horford are good signings, could be higher up the list
7. Knicks - #2 for best FA period
8. Hawks - Don't rate them at all and wouldn't be surprised they miss playoffs

Im quitely confident this Atlanta will do just as good as this season as last. Trae Young, Capela, John Collins, Bogdanovic and Gallinari is as good as a 5 you can get in the comp. Think their depth is not too bad as well.

I know this might be a dumb thing to say but I reckon Giddey might win rookie of the year

look at this against Jokic

not that this matters that much for Brooklyn but with Kyrie Irving not willing to undertake covid vaccines. The rumour mill has it that a swap for Porzingis from Dallas is up in the air.

Personally feel this brooklyn squad is good enough to win the East without Kyrie.

Nets and Bucks FINAL

The more I think about it, the more I think it can happen. Would be a huge endorsement for the NBL if Giddey got up

FanDuel Sportsbook in the US has Giddey at $17, while Sportsbet have him at $12.

tomorrows matches are huge statement matches for the rest of the league and the teams participating.

East will be most likely a battle between the 1 and 2 seeds in their conference. And if look at the betting Many betting agencies have Warriors 2nd favourite in the West.

I think both teams will go all out for the win as well.

SkyBet Request A bet 2021/22 season bets:

Screen Shot 2021-10-19 at 2.54.42 pm.png

Gobert DPOY, Doncic MVP, Giddey ROTY paying odds of 600/1 on Skybet. Sportsbet only paying around 297 for that combo.

I'd be keen to have a play on that Doncic/Gobert/ Giddey treble parlay at around 600 but not 300.

Cmon Sportsbet lift your game!

Total Match Points line (both at $1.90)

Brooklyn v Bucks: Under/Over 237.5 pts
Lakers v Warriors: Under/Over 227.5 pts

Same Game Parlay in Nets v Bucks

Poole 25+ Points
Poole 3+ Threes

at 17.50

Steph Curry to record a Triple Double against the Lakers was paying 70 pre-game.

In terms of the rank of the Parlay Bet/Same Game Multi options of the Australian choices:

1. Sportsbet
2. Ladbrokes
3. PointsBet
4. TAB
5. Unibet

anyway i'm getting with one of my Same Game Parlays for tomorrow Wednesday in Washington v Toronto:

Scottie Barnes To Record 4+ Assists
OG Anunoby 2+ Threes
Kyle Kuzma 2+ Threes
Daniel Gafford 10+ Rebounds

Odds: 12.52 on Ladbrokes with the Boost

My advise bet is to take it above 11.50
