I decided to do a fantasy draft. Makes it fun.
Pick 7 - Kyrie Irving
We managed to get lucky and pull off the #7 pick. Kyrie Irving is the future of the NBA. Arguably the best PG scorer in the whole league. Knows when to pass as well. No brainer.
Pick 54 - Joakim Noah
Will be the heart and soul of the team, especially on D. Rebounds like a beast as well and finishes around the rim.
Pick 67 - Kenneth Faried
A unit full of energy. One of the best rebounders in the game; will go perfectly with Noah. Runs the floor and likes an entertaining play.
Pick 114 - Tobias Harris
Most would see this as a surprise pick, but a 19 year old SF who can shoot the 3, has great size and can play the 4 if we decide to play small ball. Will be working on his D throughout the association.
Pick 127 - Jimmy Butler
Picked him as a stopper on D. Has great size for a SG and can play just as well as a SF. Very good shooter as well.
Pick 174 - Jerryd Bayless
Really like his game. When he gets hot, he gets hot. Can run the offence while Kyrie rests.
Pick 187 - Terrence Ross
Will be our 6th man. Will be a huge scorer for us off the bench. Will be our go to man in our second unit. Will be a beast.
Pick 234 - Brandon Bass
Can score off of the bench. No slouch on D and grabs boards. This is exactly what we want from a big man off the bench.
Pick 247 - Brendan Haywood
Wont lose a step on D and on the boards when Noah takes his spot on the bench. Check.
Pick 294 - Jodie Meeks
He can shoot from anywhere.
