Live 10 was pretty realistic and didn't have some of the ridiculous glitches 2K always has. Yes they graphics aren't realistic but that's not what I care about.

Plenty of stuff. I never saw a dunk from the FT line and the other stuff could be fixed with sliders. The post up game was shit though.

Haven't played it in years but the ball movement was very realistic (ie swinging it around the perimeter for the open man in the corner), dribbling was realistic and players tended to play like themselves and not go into god mode like they do in 2K eg Michael Beasley dropping 40 on me in 2K.

People really take the awesome things in 2k12 for granted and focus on the negative stuff way to much imo, it has a ton more depth than 2k11 which everyone seemed to love. Most of the whinging about it sounds like people just aren't very good at it and bite at all the up and unders constantly. Then again I only play online games vs mates or in online association and my player so I don't come across a lot of the frustrations in me vs cpu 5 on 5 games.

Why should you have to learn how to not bite on up and unders? 2K prides itself on being a realistic game. Go watch an NBA game, up and under are rare in today's game and even more rare under the basket. The problem with 2K is that every player can do the same thing. There's not a lot of difference in the way players play.

Yes it's annoying and they need to fix that in 2k13 but there's always going to some sort of cheesy CPU tendency in every game and unfortunately for 2k12 it was that and the 3 point tendency (was worse earlier on but was fixed in the patches) as well as some other things. But you can either keep bitching it about it all the time, or you can make a concerted effort to adjust. If you think previous nba lives havn't been glitched arcady messes that play better than 2k you're delusional and suffer from nolstagia and the grass is greener over the other side syndrome. There's also the possibility you're just not very good so you focus on the negatives as an excuse.

The Live series were VERY unrealistic with player movement, shooting motions, dunks and plenty of other shit that has slipped my mind thankfully. Would never play a Live game again, 2K shits all over it!

I can see how the casual NBA fan would enjoy the EA series but if your an avid NBA fan and gamer then 2K is the go.

Never played a basketball game on a PC but i can imagine it being awkward as hell...

I thought that being this the year of the Olympics that they should have introduced FIBA national teams to the rosters like the EA series have done in the past. Maybe it'll happen in the future....

Turn off Autosave and it fixes this problem.
