I haven't been having issues with the servers other than the day that it was off which Cory had as well.

But they simply have to allow you to be able to play offline. The stupid shit with VC and it having to connect to a server to apply upgrades and stuff and the fact that it takes 3-5 seconds when you do that too.

I get they do that because you can buy VC as well, but there's no reason it can't also be offline based. Or at the very least make it a far smoother and quicker experience.

Have been stung by the servers twice in the last 30 minutes.

First time i played a blinder game (even accomplished a goal by nailing my first 5 shots in a row), finished with a B+ 27 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 block, lost by 20 points (that was bizarre, as i was only 4 points down with less than 3 minutes remaining when i was subbed off in the 4th quarter). Game shits itself at the menu after the press conference. Reload it and it carried my game stats over..... but the game result did not, so i had to play the same game again (i was not scheduled to play the same team twice in succession).

This time i had a a sluggish start, but wound up with a B- and 22 points. This time i was booted from the PSN completely so i thought i'd quit game + save progress and resume where i was up to (again in the 4th quarter but only 3 points down with 3 minutes remaining). Have done this on pc many times. Shut down the ps3 after i returned to the 2K13 menu, load the game again AND i have to play it again from the first quarter.

Been smashing this since last week. Went no.16 in the draft to the Rockets. 5 min quarters. Started out playing about 8/20 mins, then went to starting shooting guard now I'm starting PG over Jeremy Linn. Averaging about 10ppg and 6apg. Started of pretty slow so it would be higher in the assists column.

So hard to get a triple double on 5 min quarters, almost impossible. Sitting on top of my conference though; playing on pro atm.
 
just won the nba championship with houston rockets defeating the miami heat. came from behind 1-3 to win 4-3. freaking stoked! missed out on the mvp tho. blake griffin got that
 
The game is so much better when you have your own soundtrack.

My server problems have got better, not perfect though.

Playing an athletic point guard with the nickname Goose drafted to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Goose is starting to kick arse but the team is pretty average.

Still not getting enough game time though. Goose is very good at scoring and pretty good on assists but has trouble stopping star opposition players scoring and is pretty crap at rebounding, getting better at steals though.

I still haven't worked out how to dunk or ally oop yet, but need to as I am getting in dunk situations.

R2 and either shoot or pass. I use buttons for everything except dunks which is just R2 and right stick towards the rim.

Yes, you choose your position and playing style and then start as a rookie and then develop from there.

Is it the guy you create when you start the game? If so my guy is just a black guy I made white.

Thought the create a player graphics were rather shit. I hate how hair/facial looks like paint.

I'm playing as a point guard but I am starting at shooting guard and basically all my game time is at SG (Jrue Holiday gets all game as PG). Is there anyway I can get more time at PG or should I look to get a trade to a team who doesn't have a PG? If that makes sense :P

You have to go to the menu in mycareer>Player>Equip Upgrades and scroll down to dunk packages and start equiping dunks. Took me ages to figure out why my player wasnt dunking.

Goose just had a career high 45 (only 20 minutes game time) for the Cavaliers in a loss against Golden State.

So pissed off with being put on the bench in the last 3 minutes when there was a 1 point difference as he was on fire, it was all out attack and I know Goose would have won the game and MVP even though I started on the bench.

That's happened in about 4 games and I'm getting sick of it. Seriously considering asking for a trade.


And I've started landing a few dunks :thumbsu:

Now stupid server will not save :thumbsdown:

Started My Career, went shit in the rookie game, got selected at 23 by Atlanta, after the first game in which I was useless I complained in the press conference about the coach, after the second game in which I was useless I complained to the GM about the coach, he didn't back me, retired.

Fun game.
