Went back to play the last playoff stoppers challenge, even with diamond Stockton, diamond Bing and diamond KD and a few other Amy's, it's still a bitch. There is no way this challenge is all star level. I got the required 70 points but I just can't stop them from scoring. Lost by about 10 points. It's really putting me off playing any of the other challenges.

On another note, I'm very close to Pippen.

Also, * 2K and their limited availability on locker codes! Would it hurt to just have a time limit and not a redeem limit?

Can't remember what I was trying earlier but none of the cards were particularly good. Looks like I might be having some luck with Ruby Iggy and Sapphire Westbrook, just need to find a reasonable 3rd.
 
Finally got stuck into Domination a little the last few days.. Got 10k for reaching 66 stars, opened an Icon pack with it and got Diamond Giannis. Massive W

Having pretty much the same issue. My lineup is mostly amethyst players and I don't have too much issue scoring but it's pretty damn difficult to stop the opposition from scoring.
 
Why the fk do I get so much lag when i play online all the time, it's become just about unplayable for me playing online.

Thoughts? I don't play online or any ultimate team crap. Just want a fun game of basketball.

Think I'll wait til next 2k before getting next gen 2k. Hopefully by then PS5's will be readily available, and hopefully even slim versions with larger memory space.
 
opened a 10 pack of the latest record boxes, 1st pack Allan Iverson, also got Dirk as well.
pack luck has been fire the last week.

2k is probably the worst sports title for online gaming and has been for years in my opinion. Even offline modes i feel like there is way too much input lag. I wish EA would make a new ans good NBA game, online play would be so much better and smoother than what we're getting with 2k.

After selling some badges and pretty much all my shoes, plus playing 20 games of Triple Threat Online (I went 19-1), I have a whopping 268k MT. I could easily buy Wilkins, but I feel like I should hold off until we see what this weekend's cards are.

Might be worth getting him before the new packs , once the Wilkins packs are off the store his card will most likely rise in price.

Yeah, so I decided to give him a shot and buy him for 163k and holy s**t he dunks on ERRYBODY. Worst case scenerio, I sell him back for a small loss.
 
Everyone get the new Amethyst Klay Thompson. I bought him for 50k, but I put a 3 point shoe on him, plus I have Diamond Bud as my coach, so his Defense is insane, I also upgraded a couple of his silver badges to gold (Corner Specialist and Deadeye) and his shooting is almost always green. Semi-budget beast. Probably the best shooting card outside of PD Curry in the game ATM.
 
I'm ready to burn the house down. The spotlight challenge where you need to make 7 3s on superstar. Have attempted it 4 times for a combined 1 from about 8000. Driving me insane.

Got accused of using a modded controller last night in the Rec, lol. I would highly recommend learning the shot stick instead of button shooting, the boost you get is enormous and it isn't solely based on timing.

If anyone is wondering about that Ruby Bobby Jones in my starting 5, he's an absolute clamp god. 6'9", decently fast (79 speed), athletic, who can keep up with most PFs and SFs in the game (unless it was say... Giannis or LeBron in transition). Oh, and his defense is... I'm not joking, 93 Per D, 93 Int D, 90 Block, and 90 Steal.. and that's without any boosts... and he has all the defensive badges you'd want on Gold. Seriously, pick him up. He's worth it.

I'm playing All-Time Domination and he's clamping everybody. Hell, the last game I just did he faced 97 overall Karl Malone and kept him to 4 points... both which were transition dunks.
