Heard a few floating around including how Stern wants LA and boston in the finals this year. Got me thinking of past conspiracies that have provided much entertainment over time.

Let's start with last season. Remember Duncan getting ejected after Joey Crawford got a bit excited? To refresh your memory

Afterwards the NBA suspended crawford for the rest of the season, conspiracists believe Stern did everything possible to get SAS the title as a square up for this error.

Then....Suns-Spurs - Nash was taken out by a stray Rob Horry hip. Scenes that followed resembled an aurora snow flick where blokes were piling up all over her. Suspensions were levelled at Stoudemire and Diaw for stepping on the court, Horry also got his for the flagrant. Duncan however allegedly also stepped on the court and received no punishment.

Phoenix fans, including our favourite Nip/Tuck went apo. It was all because of Stern.

Next up I found this little gem.

In reference to the 76ers making it to the nba finals against the lakers in 2001, ray allen had this to say (after the 76ers disposed of his Bucks in the Eastern Conf finals):

ray allen said:
The NBA doesn't take lightly talk of a supposed conspiracy theory that brought the Lakers and 76ers together in the NBA Finals. "The bottom line is about making money," Milwaukee Bucks star guard Ray Allen said during the Eastern Conference finals. On Tuesday, the NBA slapped Allen, the Bucks and Coach George Karl with a combined $85,000 for Allen's comments.
Do we remember Jordan's push off of Bryan Russell to win the championship?

And finally there's popular belief that the Lakers trade to acquire Gasol for a young PG and a piece of shit was akin to daylight robbery, with the assistance of one D Stern.

Do you have any theories you'd like to share?

edit: just found this pisser on youtube.

The "frozen" envelope scandal. Knicks got Ewing in the lottery when they had the least combinations and the Warrior who had the most ended up drawing last.

Lmao I'd forgot how good that Duncan T situation was.

People hate on whatever they can to make excuses for their team. I mean while watching JustinPSN4 yesterday and having that little dialog box beside it, what is the majority of the box about. THe two teams playing? Nup it's just people blaming the refs or sticking up for them, non stop. They'll put up what they can so they dont have to admit their team isnt good enough on most occasions.

And lol @ the Saudi(?) player, snapped!

Naa my eyes just wander over while in ads or while the NBA and the occasional Porn glitch are on a break.

Its all "I hate refs and Stern has this rigged" whinging.

Hmm I reckon the Sonics/Oklahoma City fiasco could actually be the end of the reign for Stern ..

There is no doubt he has a vested interest/and hidden agenda in seeing the Sonics move to Oklahoma City .. (he's good friends with one of the Sonics owners) ..

Still I find him less corrupt then Andrew Demetriou so that's one good thing u can say about him :D
