Basically, better AI, more players, newer commentary, more modes, more dunk animations, taunts, team fire mode, online co-op campaign (that's busted as anything...). All for basically half the price.

I paid something ridiculous like $80 for the disc version on release day last year

I'll download the new version but i don't know how much i'll play it considering NBA 2K12 is 10000000000000000000 times better.

Jam's meant to be arcadey, it's not trying to compete with 2k12. I consider 2k12 to be something which I play religiously on my own, whereas Jam is great when a few mates come around.

Just had some kid quit on me because I played "unsportsmanlike".

Its nba JAM ffs!

Im sure the 29 to 5 quarter time score was more the cause.

Downloaded it last night, having an absolute ball with my son.

He thought it was hilarious when I explained how I used to go to the video shop everynight after school and play it nearly 20 years ago.
