Great game!

I'm struggling to get past the Lakers on Gold. Slowly working my way through the Road Trip, starting with their division. Damn On Fire after 1 shot kills me. They just push me over and ream me.

Have unlocked (bought) about half of the classic players. Thunder Dan FTW! Drazen is pretty damn good as well (as I said, I'm a 3pt nut).

Also unlocked the Phx Gorilla. He was awesome in one game. Just blocked everything. Played him against the Lakers and he goes missing. ****.

Apparently my cousin downloaded the upgrade file and then wondered why it wouldn't work. Now he can't find the trial version to download. Hilarity.

The trial version has been taken off the PS Store, looks like everything NBA Jam related is gone. Tried to buy it but couldn't.

I used to love the Phx Gorilla in the original!

god this game is sweet! the amount of unlockables is insane!

playing as shaq and howard you are basically unstoppable. both players have 10 for blocking, 10 for strength and 10 for dunk. the opposition can barely do a thing! lol

also playing as the celtics with bird and allen? is pretty sweet as well. both have 10 ratings for 3's and you just shoot from beyond the arc all game for a bit of a change up.

just wish bloody co-op didn't drop out in the 3rd every time you try to play .....can't believe it counts as a loss too! :|

These Gold challenges are so hard! Trying to do the Clippers one now, Blake Griffin is a monster. Cannot beat him, twice in a row now I've been up by 10 in the last quarter before they catch fire and destroy me.

Basically, better AI, more players, newer commentary, more modes, more dunk animations, taunts, team fire mode, online co-op campaign (that's busted as anything...). All for basically half the price.

This is what I saw on the PS Blog.

"NBA Jam – This has been taken off the store due to a technical issue with the game, this has been rectified and will be available to download again today from 5pm, so keep an eye out for it."

That was written at 1:53pm (probably UK time) on the 7th of October. Then 4 hours later, this:
"NBA Jam is now back on the store!!

Enjoy"

I haven't given it a look through, but check it out now?

Would also probably be worth everyone else deleting the game and re-downloading it too, save files should stay safe FWIW.

Lol. Any indication of what the technical issue was? Was it connection issues? I tried playing a friend online and it was disconnected continuously after tip off.

Otherwise, the only technical issue I have is the non-stop shoving by the AI on Gold Medal challenges.

BTW, Republicans FTW. Palin is unstoppable from the trey.

Downloading as we speak. Made sure that I download the trial first and then buy the upgrade as I believe that's the only way to get the full version (could be wrong, most likely am)

Weird, I actually had a game that I completed. Tried about 9 other times and didnt work.

So anyone deleted it and reinstalled notice any different?

i havn't yet but i'm assuming a patch was released?

if not it's almost certain you'd have to re-download it again to get the co-op to work as intended.

this game is at its peak in co-op no question about it!

No, you're only deleting the game, no other game data or save data is included in that.

Yeah the only thing that solved was my " time is money " upgrade finally works.

Online is worse.
