Thought it needs a thread of it's own. Mayo, Randolph, Gordon, Stuckney all impressive on first day.

2nd day (today): Spencer Hawes had a good game with 23 pts, 2 assists and 9 rebounds in the Kings 93-86 win. Williams was also good with 16 pts, 2 assists and 10 rebounds.

Graham was the Raptors best with 24 pts, 1 steal and 8 rebounds. J.Carroll also recorded 14 pts in just 14 mins.

The Bobcats won 81-66 over the Clippers who were impressive on day 1. The Bobcats used 14 players and their best was DJ 14pts, 2 steals, 2 assists and 3 rebounds.

The Clippers best was the Young Gun Al Thornton who was a good pick-up for them last year and also dominated the simmer league last year. He had 22 pts, 1 block and 7 rebounds today. Thornton now has an average of 21 pts and 7 rebounds per game in his 2 games so far. Gordon was good once again.

Denver beat Philly 99-85 in a somewhat high scoring game. Young was Philly best with 22 pts, 2 steals, 3 assists and 4 rebounds. Smith and Speights were good as well.

The Nuggets bests were D.Jones who got 21 pts, 1 assist and 1 rebound and E.Brown who got 13pts, 1 assist and 11 rebounds. Weems was also good netting 17 pts and 3 rebounds in 20 mins gametime.

Memphis are currently beating the Bucks 26-18 early in the 2nd quarter. Mayo and Arthur are once again staring with 8pts and 1 rebound and 6pts and 2 rebounds respectively.

T.Johnson is the Bucks best player so far with 6pts and 2 rebounds in just 5 minutes gametime.

Nuggets have a pretty good summer league standard team.

hopefully the Nuggets big 3 in Green, Weems, Jones dominate. and a big hard working hustling PF can come out of this to replace Najera.

Final score between Memphis and Milwaukee was 88-79 in the Grizzlies favour.

Mayo dominated with 26 pts, 1 steal, 1 assist and 5 rebound. He still is my pick from a few weeks ago to win ROTY.

Yer I saw that.

Strange how they didn't play in this one.

I can't wait to see Tucker, DJ, J.Jorden and R.Lopez on show tomorrow.

Day 3 results. (Phoenix still yet to play a game and some have played 2)

Charlotte 75-77 New Orleans.
Close battle. Jermareo Davidson starred for the Bobcats with 12pts, 1 block, 2 assists and 9 rebounds. DJ was good as well with 15pts, 2 assists and 3 rebounds.

For the Hornets Bobby Brown was their best with 20pts, 1 steal, 5 assists and 5 rebounds in a good all-round performance. Hilton was good as well with 14pts and 7 boards.

The Warriors once again scored highly with a 95-86 win over the Mavs. James Singleton was the Mavs best netting 17pts, 1 assist and 7 boards. Charles Rhodes was good as well getting 12pts, 1 block, 1 steal, 2 assists and 6 rebounds in just 17mins gametime.

The Warriors best was Marco Belinelli who dominated this same event last year but was somewhat of a disappointment in the regular season. He had 25pts, 1 steal, 3 assists and 3 rebounds. Randolph had a reasonable game again but was not as dominate as his first performance.

Lakers and Memphis has just started with Lakers getting a early 7-5 lead. OJ already has 3pts and a rebound in 2 or 3 minutes of play.

The guy doesn't get the point. I said why did Rose, Beasley and Lopez play in the pro-league instead of the summer league like most of the other rookies and 2nd year players.

He replied and said there 2 different things.

Of course they are, yet he still didn't answer the question.

Nope, you've lost me. Why didn't they play? Because their teams are not playing? I don't know what else to say ... really!

Exactly. They arent playing because their teams are in the Orlando summer league consisting of 6 NBA teams.

I dont see why teams from the East should travel to Vegas for a summer league when they can stay local.

Don't get too excited over summer league games....wasn't John Lucas III the mvp a couple of years back..

Greene looks too raw, looks funky on the court, although he can shoot.
