So you rate the Iverson deal as a win for the Pistons diablo? Do you see him playing for Detroit any time past this season?

More of a win for Detroit if he doesn't really.

Probably true, obviously depending on who they can buy with the cap space.

EDIT: My brother is a big Blazers fan Sim and he still cant get over Roys winning shot against the Rockets. Roy has been struggling so far this season so hopefully that gives him a boost.

We cannot lose on this deal. We were not going to win the title with Chauncey on board, so it makes sense to deal him while he has value elsewhere.

I expect things to improve from here on out as far as AI goes, so I still think we will be around the mark come May. So if he goes well, and he wants to stay and we want him to stay, then we keep one of the finest players of his generation (and of all time), if not, we have massive cap space opening up.

I think we will just see how this year pans out, and then decide how we want to build from there. Who knows? We might be able to keep AI, Sheed AND sign a big free agent.

Well Dumars is usually pretty shrewd with trades but who knows. So many big names coming out of contract. Sheed will also come off the books within a year or so. That's a lot of cap space.

My understanding is that Sheed comes off at the end of this year also (if not next year), which will open up $38 million of cap space. You can get yourself a bloody good player or two with that sort of coin.

I just like the idea that we have already thought far enough ahead that we are putting the pieces in place now to have a crack at LBJ when he becomes a free agent.

2010 free agency will be so stacked.

Wade, Bosh, LBJ, Stat

Loads of young talent.

Bosh has said he's open to going anywhere, (Orlando sentinel wrote an article about how we could clear space to get him alongside his buddy Dwight (no chance but lets dream))

LBJ has made his desire public, saying if Cleveland don't have the team for him when he comes off the books he will go elsewhere.

Will be a massive hunting season.

I reckon the Hornets will make a big play for Wade or Lebron. Peja out, Lebron in... Just imagine Paul and Lebron working together.

Nets up by 2 points at half time. Without Dev Harris

Carter with 20 points. Looks like another win for the Nets:thumbsu:

He was known as a pretty tough defender. Although he never played against the better guards every week because he was in a shit conference.

Hmm. I've noticed him getting torched in transition a few times. I'm sure he'll improve. I heard he jammed it straight on Barbosa yesterday.

Beasley is ridiculous on offense. Watching him today got me juiced up. A bigger talent than I thought.

He was cool as they come at the FT line as well. Mark Jackson was really talking him up during the game yesterday. They have must have spoken for 30 seconds in the corridor.

Pacers by 18, without Dunleavy and Rasho.

Granger has really stepped up his play by being able to get to the line this season.
Good win by Pacers. When the pressure was on we couldn't hit a basket.

Would have been good to have Harris playing coming off his 38 point game but i guess Dunleavy out equals it up .

We will get our revenge on Thursday :p

Will Harris be back? Could be fun watching him and TJ going head to head...arguably the 2 quickest PGs.

Dwight Howard, what a beast!!! Actually shot decentish from the freethrow line.

Minnesota started well. Jefferson big early.

Miller is so ugly though. Makes it hard to watch

Props to the Big Cactus.

29 and 11 against the Bucks. Doing it beautifully.

I wish Barbosa would find his shot though.

Phoenix a whopping 37/46 from the stripe. A foul fest in Milwaukee.

Portland really struggling. The TWolves 2nd unit extended a 2 point lead to as many as 11.

it reminds me of him in the glory laker days. they mustve fed him the ball.

Well he was 12-14 from the field at one stage.

He looks in terrific shape and has got some quickness back in the off season. The Phoenix trainers seem to do a top job, have managed Nash and particularly Hill very well.
