Oh yeah fair enough, although I think it's conditional with Vassel playing though.

Nick Nurse definitely has made your Sixers a lot more enjoyable to watch, so I definitely think coaching matters. Thibs and Vaughn (Nets coach) don't coach in a very appealing way and Griffin has made the Bucks so far turgid to watch even with Dame
Yeah been saying the same since the start of the season. I don’t think the Sixers are a contender but they are a million times more enjoyable to watch. Watching an actual offensive scheme and adjustments made mid game is staggering after being stuck with Doc for years.

It is night and day how much better we look and if anyone was actually stupid enough to consider hiring that fraud again I hope they take a long hard look at Philly this year.

* these refs and tech fouls for hanging on the rim.

No wonder Bill Simmons called Adam Silver a 'soccer mom', the refs have been adjudicating like that ever since he took over as commissioner

Oh I think the Sixers can actually be a legit contender, esp if you use your many assets and picks Morey got from the Harden Trade (expiring contracts etc) for someone like Pascal Siakam or OG from the Raptors if Masai decides to blow it up.

Oubre Jnr is by far best free agent signing of the season. Basically outplaying them all at 3 mill a year or the like compared to FVVs 40 for example

With Oubre now I think 76ers can be patient and get a good deal later on.

Feel Brogdon/Grant will be it though

Early days yet.

There was talk Morey doesn't wanting to sign players unless they are on scoring contracts too

I’ve been resisting the urge to completely gush over how good Oubre has been but the value he is providing on that contract is insane! Love that sexy mother ****er!

I subscribe to the theory that the Lakers are not better than last season, esp as we have seen several West Teams (IE OKC, Houston and esp the Wolves) seemingly big improvers

Granted Ham is a bum of a coach, but the pieces LAL (or should I say LOL) just have no real chemistry or in sync with what LeBron is trying to do.

What are Boston doing

Being outplayed by the best team in the East right now, it happens. Annoying but it's not as if we are losing to a bum team like the Lakers or Wizards.

Sixers under Nick Nurse and minus the baggage of Jim Harden are a new, more prickly proposition to deal with (sadly)

I still think Boston are the team to beat in the East, Philly look really good but that starting 5 is just ominous.

Worth mentioning that Boston have had a large roster turn over and it will take some time to gel. Them being this good early is a good result for them. Joe Maz is the biggest concern for Boston.

Agree more the turnovers and rubbish I’ve been seeing Mr Jalen Brown is a laugh . Agree on Philly, Harden was a huge problem and they have deoth now.

Our bench and lack of quality big man depth is our main issue right and that is more on Brad Stevens than Joe imo (he has a really good group of assistants with him)

Prolly missing Grant Williams more than we thought tbh, who was a really effective Embiid/Giannis stopped.

Even better is he has adjusted his game to fit the system basically instantly. At Charlotte he was more a chucker but toned it down a bit. Should get a 15 mill contract next time around if he keeps it going ala Divincenzo

So many players need better guards off the bench if you ask me, its staggering John Wall hasnt been given a contract yet for example. Not sure how Dru Smith is above John Wall for example in any rotation

Grant is definitely a loss but being a bench depth big away is not a bad position to be in.

I am sure a cheap big that can play 10-15 minutes a night will become available before the deadline.

Think Jaylen Brown is stinking it up more than you thought

He has been atrocious so far this season

The NBA is so funny, rules are set up in a way Boston really had no choice but to give him that contract yet the second he signed it it was an awful awful contract.
