Hahahahaha funny fight :thumbsu: I like ESPN's video description ofr the Lakers vs Hornets highlights. " Despite loss, Chris Paul continues streak of 20 plus points and 10 plus assits, to open the season " First of all don't give the winning team and credit in it, and second of all do they really think Chris Paul gives a crap about his streak. I'm sure he would much rather erase their 3 loses than have that streak going. He is an incredible player but, gotta give him credit, I'm just saying I'm sure the team winning is much more important then his individual stats

What a jib....we have a fight and Ron Artest doesn't even get involved!

Very good win from the Rockets.

Stone cold for the Suns. Shaq continues to amaze me. He's still got it.

Nash didn't even get hit. He kinda just fell over when he got near Rafer. Kinda like Hunter vs Hall

Didn't want to start a new thread, so I thought I'd ask it here:

Why isn't Kuptchak/Buss getting much credit for putting together this team?

Last year, they wouldn't shut up about Danny Ainge. The Spurs front office is constantly getting rave reviews.

Yet the Lakers' front office, which has put together a tremendously deep team through good late-round drafting and savvy trading, gets little to no props. What gives?

I'm sure they don't mind, and they will get plenty of credit when/if they win the championship.

media is convinced that everything about his team is because of kobe (i.e. mj mk II)

but its mostly because boston/spurs have won championships with their deap teams

but yeh the boston praise started much before the finals

Mainly because Ainge turned a 24 win team around into World champions in one year, and also you would notice that the Lakers GM was runner up in the Executive of Year award last season, but don't let facts get in the way of a pointless whinge ..

"I wish he would have had one more rebound. It would have looked really even on the stat sheet -- 30, 20 and 10," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. "You can't dominate a game much more than that."

Well you took him out DINGUS!

MAN!!
Anyone see the scuffle between Houston and Phoenix?????

Awesome stuff, McGrady decked Nash a couple of times after Barnes laid a tough screen on Alston.

Then Shaq came along!!!!

i wonder what nash is gonna think when he sees the vision. barnes started it.

for lack of accolades for buss/kupchak well we havent won anything. last year was an amazing run. we were never expected to win the title. boston got the press last year cause its boston. people/media were excited about them coming back, and then the lakers-celtics finals was all about nostalgia.

for me i dont care if our front office gets no love. if we win the championship its all good.

cp, quit calling it the world championship. it is NOT the world championships.

New Orleans' head coach Byron Scott isn't happy with the production of backup point guard Mike James so far this season.

Scott wants James to take less shots and set up his teammates more. He has considered altering the rotation but decided against it for now.
I bet Mike James is though.

Ok...so what the hell is with Jeff Foster scoring mid teen points all of a sudden? Legend.

No Granger, Dunleavy or Murphy and still got the W, what a difference having an awesome point guard makes.
