This technical on Artest was a fairly huge load of horseshit. No way would Grant Hill of got tech'd for the same thing.

But what I like about it, is that Ron has done this a couple of times now. He did it against Boston in the pre-season when that Dick guy was playing, and watch the reaction of Josh Howard and Jason Kidd when they see Artest is running in.

What Ron did was totally innocent, but you can just see every other player in the league is genuinely scared of him and what he might do. He's getting an Oakley-like reputation, even though he's actually playing the peacemaker role. And either way, it looked like it got into Josh Howard's head a fair bit (not hard to do).

He is the perfect compliment to Yao, who has been criticised for being too timid, and often gets targeted by quasi-tough guys.

I have to say, this rockets team scares the living shit out of me. IMO they have a better list than LA.

As for which player's body I'd want, I'd go with Dwayne Wade. You aren't freakishly big (like LeBron) but you can jump over small buildings.

I'd take a younger half man half amazing anyday of the week...i'd have to go with Dwight ATM though, to big, too strong, can jump high enough to win slam dunk comps. Massively long arms too, as he showed when he got that game winning alley-oop dunk in against the spurs.

I think you're reading too much in to it. Kidd and Howard can more than hold their own

Howard is smart tough.

In this same game he trips Yao, makes his point, and nobody even realised it. Artest just screams in at people

Nah to me that is just dirty. Tripping in basketball is incredibly dangerous. Howard seems like an ok guy, and an angry young man, but I don't like tripping. Not sure if Kidd can hold his own against a male, but you can see it in their eyes they don't want any part of Artest.

Artest is a nut, no doubt. But the man has principles, he goes at people face to face and you can tell that most in the NBA are genuinely fearful of him. Plus, he once dacked Paul Pierce because he was finding it hard to guard him. Then he sang a song about it:

LOL.

Anyway, Artest really matured as a player in Sacramento, but nobody really noticed imo.

so why did the suns play in their orange jerseys at home?
New Orleans should never be out of their home jersey. It is such a good strip.

Plus the orange is better than the Freo-esque purple

Why you should never bother asking Beckham how the game was (apart from the fact he probably has no idea about basketball). ;)
