Really pleased with Rondo's game, and good to see his field goal shooting today was pretty good (4-5) 14 points all up, with 5 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

Perkins is obviously the weak link right now ...

Gee whiz, is Greg Oden the NBA's version of Scott Gumbleton ? (Very high draft pick who was highly touted a few years ago, but just can't seem to stay off the injury list ??? :D )

Read an article about Okafor.

He was saying he wanted a "Dwight Howard extention"

Stephen A Smith just started yelling (in type) "You aint Dwight Howard"

Yeah, but Okafor will never be more than a good average player.

Bynum has the chance to be the centre of his generation.

I guarantee you, if Bynum stays healthy this year, every team with enough room to offer him the max will do so.

Seven foot Syndrome.

People will offer mass deals to 7 footers.

What gets me, Dwight is crusified for having 'no post moves' while Bynum get's his rod polished for putting up rubbish numbers in comparison.

Don't dislike Bynum, I thought the pick was ballsy and I loved in at #10, but common.

That's because it's much easier for a centre to get stronger (Bynum's biggest weakness) than it is for one to get more skilled, or taller.

Bynums' got better hands than Dwight, he's taller than Dwight, already has better post moves...and his athleticism is just as impressive considering he's genuinely 7"0 and not 6"9 like Dwight.

If he can put on enough weight so that he doesn't get pushed around (and he has the frame do so), he'll dominate.

Mind you, he'll never get Dwight's numbers playing alongside Kobe and Gasol. Dwight wouldn't break 20ppg either in that team.

You clearly love Bynum more than he is worth, he has a long long way to go, and it's more than just getting stronger. But that's not to say I'm not too much on Dwight's side either being an Orlando fan.

There is no way Dwight is 6"9' though. That cant be right, he'd be very close to 7"0' from memory.

Draftexpress has measurements for everyone post 2002 or so.

Measured in at 6"9 without shoes, so about 6"10.5 with shoes.

And I know Bynum's not making me look good today, but give him some time, he hasn't played since early last year.

Draftexpress? Would that not be draft year measurements? And just quietly he's named as 6'10" on there. Also they have Dwight's weight as 240lbs when last I heard he was above 260lbs.

Bynum will be just fine as a player. He could be a player that becomes better than Dwight but I don't think he's ready made yet, and all that's left is to fill out. He's still got a long way to go on offense to be dominant. I think his defense is pretty well ready when he gets to optimum strength though.

EDIT: e.g. NBA.com:
Height: 6-11 / 2,11
Weight: 265 lbs. / 120,2 kg.
