Because Referees don't call charges unless you flop. if you stand your ground, then referees make up a call on the defense.

I play ball myself, and the refs will never call a charge unless you milk it for all it's worth and fall over (not that I do it). It's pretty ridiculous though
 
Really? If you are standing still and a dude runs straight into you, you will most likely hit the ground. No flopping required.
It was the off ball non charge situation flops that Reddage is regularly doing that is the most annoying.

Depends what your balance is like, when someone runs into me I tend to stumble backwards and keep my feet.

I didn't see any of game 3, but I've seen Redhage flop a couple times in previous matches.

I was a Giants member for years before they folded but my partner's family have been Tigers members for generations.

We were considering not keeping our membership next season (girlfriend's mother claims its not what it used to be) but this? This will be the end. For good.

Keep us posted if there is any petitions against the change, a lot of people would love to sign it and those in Melbourne protest most likely.

Lanard Copeland only started tweeting about it 3-4 hours ago and he's still super close to the team. Goes to most of the games, etc. So even to them its come out of nowhere.
