Is there any bigger flog in the world of basketball than James Ennis?

A shit load of talent but a ten cent head.

That's the third game out of his last four that he's been involved and/or started shit after the game is over. Leave it on the court before someone breaks your face off of it.

Pretty sure he was recruited by the Miami Heat, therefor he has probably spent some time with Lebron James.......Enough said.

Well it started with Gary Ervin getting shitty with Greg Hire for shooting with 4 seconds left in the game and escalated with Joey Wright losing his mind. Not sure why you're singling him out.

Wasn't Joey reacting to one of Perth's assistant coaches shoving him?

All I saw was the video - Ennis was front and centre, again, for the majority of the incident. He's been involved in a number of them over the past half dozen games (e.g. the incident with Goulding because he refused to shake hands, a customary thing pretty much everywhere around the world).

Here's my fifty cents. Ervin got shitty with Hire, Ennis got shitty with Ervin and then Petrie gets shitty with Ennis. Then the brawl starts and finishes. Joey Wright comes in and holds of some of the wildcats players back (should have been holding his own players), and the wildcats assistant coach Adam Tatalovich push Wright in the chest. Then Wright goes off like a fire cracker and goes after Tatalovich.

Wright was coming towards the Wildcats with his arms raised and the assistant pushed his right arm down. So then Wright punches him in the stomach, starts going after him and shoves a development player who gets in his way.

Flog? Far from it buddy

Also Ennis didn't start that fight...if you want to point fingers point it at Erving. Wouldn't you back your teammate if they got into an altercation? I'd call him a flog if he didn't!

Was poor form from Adelaide, typical sore losers

So, Perth start the brawl, yet it's poor form from Adelaide. I like your logic.

Two charges have subsequently been issued and referred to an independent judiciary.

Adelaide coach Joey Wright has been charged with allegedly striking Perth Assistant Coach Adam Tatalovich.

Perth forward James Ennis has been charged with the alleged attempted striking of Adelaide’s Mitch Creek.

The charges are expected to be heard later this week..

As expected the only player reported is Ennis. Absolute clown. All of the talent in the world but a ten cent head.

The guy was an idiot all through high school and now is an even bigger clown here.

The report has been coming for a while.

Bit of spice between Perth and Adelaide...fair chance they will meet for the championship, should be interesting

Such a hater

Not a hater at all. Completely honest.

There's multiple reasons why a guy with his level of ability and athleticism was not picked up by a better college than where he was ultimately forced to attend. It's not as though he was raised in the middle of nowhere and scouts never had an opportunity to have a thorough look at him. He grew up in Ventura, California.

Great, great talent but he undoes most of it by being a bonehead.

Don't understand the hatred of Ennis. Off the court he comes across as a pretty quiet, humble guy. I get the impression he knows what the crowd wants to see and plays up to that, but it isn't really demonstrative of his personality.

I've watched the replay over and over and still have no idea what started the brawl. What is obvious is that Joey Wright reignited it when the Wildcats assistant pushed his arm away and he went absolutely berko. It had basically broken up at that point.

I'll give you one example... Ennis is the type of guy who after a close loss refuses to shake the hand of the opposition - something that has been a tradition in basketball longer than he has been alive. On the replay of that incident you can see that Damian Martin calls him back and Ennis looks at him and you can clearly see that he mouths at Martin to **** off.

The NBL investigated that incident and had it not been for Martin, Goulding and Anstey corroborating together he'd have gotten into trouble.

Haven't seen the footage but the official word from the club was that he went to give Goulding a fist bump rather than a handshake and Goulding interpreted it as a snub.

I'm sure that's why he told Martin to **** off.

Charges against Ennis dismissed by the NBL.

Strange for them to see something in it and then dismiss it entirely. It's only a matter of time before he finds himself accused of doing something again.

I found one video of the incident on Youtube, but if you can read anyone's lips from that video then you must have been a hawk in a past life. I couldn't see any interaction between Ennis and Martin at all.

LOL WUT. Pretty sure Adam T didn't do anything but try and break the fight up

These charges relate to alleged physical contact and abusive language directed at Adelaide Coach Joey Wright.

They follow an official complaint lodged with the NBL by the Adelaide 36ers. Additional evidence has emerged to support the charges.

Wright said nothing about Tatulovich using abusive language in his post-match presser. It was all about "he pushed me in the chest". Which the footage shows didn't actually happen.

Trying to talk his way out of his own charges, obviously.

Edit: My bad, he did actually suggest Tatulovich told him to f*** off at the time.
