What happens if one of the wildcats got injured in the last couple of minutes by the 14th Cairns player to take the court?

Pretty sure there will be no compensation though.

"NBL operations manager Guy Neville said the league incorrectly gave the Taipans permission." - There is the problem with any sanction against Cairns.

If it was a unilateral move by the team then you could find a fair sanction (- like a fine and forcing them to sit out 2 uninjured players from their chosen 12 the other night.... or whatever).

But the fact is the LEAGUE, through its officials on the day, unilaterally gave one team permission to use more players than the other team.... more than the rules of basketball allow... and didn't even tell the other team... and the other team found out when the 13th and 14th players took the court.... WOW.

Could you imagine this in the AFL? Commentators asking the boundary riders to check why one team has 18 on the field and 6 on the bench???

If against Adelaide the big key is not dropping the couple home games. Good chance to steal 1 of the 3 in Adelaide. Obviously hoping Illawarra get up though. How can cats do members pre-sale on tickets now when we don't even know when the first home game will be :/

There more perplexing thing is that the cut off is 5pm Wednesday and game 3 for ADL v ILL and on Thursday. So they don't know 1, where game one is and what team will have the 3 home games yet. Makes no sense at all, I went to buy tickets last night and you could only purchase for 1 game from what I saw. Will hold off until later this week to see if they figure out what they have done. Cutoff should be on Friday once they know the schedule for the GF series.

There are huge problems with the game if he gets done for that.

The fact it is even being looked at is concerning.

He intentionally whacked someone in the face with the ball. A two game suspension is over the top, especially when Ogilvy is getting no more than a tiny fine for tackling someone to the ground, but a fine and decent warning not to be a campaigner again would be just.
