Ever heard NZ commentary? The think they are the best sporting teams in the world. Like they time Zimbabwe hadn’t played tests for 4 years and kiwis had them 4/1 at home and Ian Smith was proclaiming a new world order. It’s hilarious
So breakers owner Matt Walsh was allegedly drunk and behaving very poorly at the races. Breakers are apparently threatening legal action against people speaking about it. They even got old mate Homicide to put out an apology tweet after he said something about 'NZ's culture problem starts from the top'.
The people running this team are completely ****ed. They've ruined what was one of the great sports organisations with a great culture.

Daniel Johnson has a disgusting approach to the game for a 4/5. Settling for fadeaway jumpers instead of driving to the hoop.
This is pathetic from Adelaide. When will basketball teams learn that they can’t take any team for granted no matter how poor they seem to be?
The NBL has progressed so much in recent years but the professionalism is still lacking everywhere outside of Perth.

Joey Wright is supposed to be this amazing coach - and I do like watching how his teams play the game - but how he still tolerates this is beyond me. It costs Adelaide 2-3 games a year imo and they’re never beating a good team in a 5 game series if their main big refuses to engage in the paint.
Rant over. It’ll be better if Cairns or Phoenix make that fourth spot anyway.

I see the 36ers have kept the dodgy scoreboard traditions from TSA. I don't think the player stats were right at any stage of the game.
Even one of Illawarra's assistants had to go to the score bench to query why Coenraad had 4 fouls up against his name on the scoreboard at one stage.

Is it just me or is the picture quality for NBL matches really poor?
There’s an AFL match on Fox Footy (originally broadcast on the old C7 channel) that has a better image quality than what the NBL is currently serving up.

I'm flicking between the Boomers v Lightning WNBL game, and the Taipans v 36ers match.
The picture quality for the WNBL match is excellent.
The NBL broadcast (supposedly in HD) is so blurry it looks like an analogue broadcast.
