What a ******* stupid idea.A hub for the sake of a hub.
Who's looking forward to seeing Brisbane v Cairns in front of an empty John Cain Arena.
NBL's Biggest Show Ever to Take Over Melbourne
Hub's fine when it is necessary, but the fact they have fixtures before and after says it's not.Amusing people are against the hub, but, football fans are furious that the A-League didn’t do a plan B like the NBL.
It looked like it was necessary.Hub's fine when it is necessary, but the fact they have fixtures before and after says it's not.
Truth be told, you can trademark pretty much anything.Good. Still can't believe you can trademark a effin building....
Why is it necessary though? It looked like it was necessary.
I’m no Vic fan, but can understand why they have done it.
If it wasn’t you honestly think they would not hold games in the 2 stadiums that have the biggest attendances? So obviously they have seen evidence that it is, rather than be caught out.Why is it necessary though?
Of course it is. Doesn't Larry still own portions of both?Massive leg up for the Melbourne teams
That is weird. But Harley Davidson wasn't funded by public money though. The Opera House was (in a roundabout way).Truth be told, you can trademark pretty much anything.
The noise (the particular pitch, frequency and timbre) a Harley Davidson makes is trademarked in the US (not sure if it is here).

Nope. No matter where it is, it’s a terrible idea, and is a hub for the sake of a hub.If it was in your home town you'd think it's a great idea!
yes well.....Looking forward to the NBL starting, have no problem with the hub....safety first from Larry who is a very shrewd operator. Basketball is Australia is lucky to have him.
Realise this may be the wrong thread (not sure if I should start one) but as a Tasmanian involved in basketball really looking forward to watching how the franchise / team / coach develop with the Jackjumpers coming in to the league next year.
CEO of the Jackjumpers said they should announce the coach before Christmas which hasn't happened, hoping there are structures in place for the right person to be appointed to help develop a strong team and launch the franchise succesfully.
Yep heard that, you are right about us not having a stadium to play out of......unless they can play in front of 1000 down at Kingstonyes well.....
not sure how that will work during the season, since we lack a stadium atm. Reckon it is just to get them out of Melbourne in case things heat up over there again.
how quickly things change ... looks more likely to play everyone in tassie nowWhat are the odds the NBL will just play everyone in Melbourne to protect their precious NBL Cup
Tasmania JackJumpers Appoint Scott Roth as Inaugural Head CoachStill no news on the coach of the Jackjumpers
Cheers Biggie - yep bout time it was announced![]()
He's very good with bigs, does a lot of work one on one with them.Cheers Biggie - yep bout time it was announced
As a Wildcat supporter do you rate him - what are his strengths / weaknesses?
