The Wildcats are slightly more powerful in the scoring department this season, Law and Frazier join Cotton as players that can create their own buckets. The combination of Law, Majok and Hodgson should cover the rebounding deficit left by Mooney. Blanchfield, when fit, will hopefully continue to be an offensive threat and Travers will continue to develop. Norton will lead the defence and Frazier is said to be though back court defender as well. I'm also looking forward to the continued development of the the remaining Steindl Twin; Cory Shervill. This roster can go all the way but this season looks to be the best yet and nothing is a guarantee. Really looking forward to an absolute ripper of a season.

Cats ought to be right in the mix again with this roster.

In the past I've always enjoyed cheering against Hodgson. He has a knack for doing dumb things, so if he can just cut all that out of his game starting from now, that'd be great. :thumbsu:
As long as he keeps his knees away from Bryce now they're teammates

Will Perth be allowed to play any home games this season or will the league need to follow other leagues and base them somewhere else for most of the season?

Would just be like the AFL with visiting clubs to Perth doing quarantine protocols
Given the $ difference between AFL and NBL plus the fact NSW/Vic are "opening up" I wouldn't be so certain that would be the case. But you'd hope the NBL had already secured some agreement with all states regarding travel

As a possible indicator, the WNBL schedule was released earlier this week, and it has Perth playing their first 2 games at home (hosting the WA border-friendly Adelaide Lightning in both games), and then has them on the road for 11 weeks until a bunch of home games at the very end of the season.
The total ends up being 7 games at home, 14 on the road. :grimacing:
