Sapwell has come back to the Sixers, for the minimum!

It's not a done deal yet.

The NBL have to give it the ok first because the sixers are over the cap. Teams over the cap are only allowed to sign young players to the minimum. Sapwell is happy to sign for the minimum but he isn't a young developing player so that's why permission is needed.

Because Sapwell has a history with Adelaide and thats where his house is and where he plans to live after basketball I think the NBL might let him play for the sixers. If it was a player that had never played with Adelaide before and had no links there I don't think they'd get away with it.

Nothing to do with the topic, but just had to commend Squeak on his avatar.

Brannigan, Zapp Brannigan.

Just out of interest, Jamahl Mosley has got a gig on the Milwaukee Bucks Pepsi Summer League roster.

Stephen Black to Brisbane.

Jod23 to look at houses in Qld this weekend.

Rogers was a 36 from way back. Then again so were Bradtke and Wheeler and just about every other half decent centre in SA to flee. Wonder if they regret it all now?

emus win...

The Emus Australian Under 19 men’s basketball team have caused the upset of the World Championships for Junior Men in Thessaloniki, Greece by thumping tournament favourites the USA by 21 points, 106-85, to storm into the medal round.

The USA, who were perfect in the tournament prior to meeting the Australians, had insult added to injury and were eliminated from medal contention due to the loss.
