Not being on TV until October is just killing the game more and more :(
People dont even know the season has started
u would think fox sports good put it on when the season started instead of replays of the ashes from 2 years ago or 1985 world series cricket

I agree; even if they just show the game in delay, it doesn't even have to be live, just show something.

I read a quote from Seamus McPeake where he said that sometime in the next 2 or 3 weeks the NBL and Fox Sports will be announcing a new TV agreement for next season. And it will be significantly better than this year. I am hoping basketball gets a deal like the Netball did and all games are shown live.

Fox Sports don't really care about basketball:confused:
Why should they? Over the last few years basketball hasn’t really cared about basketball. Don’t blame them for giving us shit coverage. Basketball has to life their game before expecting things in return.

They should have kicked it off this Saturday night with the Tigers/Dragons game. From what I've heard they had sold about 7,500 tickets as of yesterday?

I think it really shows where the nbl is at when the wnbl has more wide spread coverage. It is disappointing as from a Melbourne perspective the tigers and dragons would be good teams to watch this year.

Wednesday 22 October

Crocodiles vs. Spirit (Our 250th home game)

Wednesday 29 October

Hawks vs. Taipans

One every Wednesday, and 4 out of NZ over the season, I think.

The last minute was a bit of a comedy routine

the 2 Croc backcourt turnovers (falling over and getting picked from behind)
the non fouling by spirit and letting the clock run
and Carf's man 'Homocide' not following his man through the screen. Low had an open look and barely hit rim.

Great game though! :)
