The hilarious part is this was promoted as future proof, fast and reliable and our new modern whiz bang solution. Yet by the time it's available it's still waaaaay behind performance that other countries have had for years. I get that Australia is big and cabling takes time and money, but this has to be one of the most expensive stuff ups in infrastructure that a Government has ever done.Keep hearing that Australia has the worst NBN infrastructure in the world. I cry a little on the inside when I see people overseas complaining about their 100mbps connection.
I'm switching to 5g ASAP. NBN is a joke.

I have had 100mbps for about 6 years on cable here. NBN should be offering GB speeds
Highest I've peaked on cable is 96. Unfortunately we are the exception, not the norm. When I was in the States a few years ago I remember a Time Warner commercial on TV that was advertising their minimum package of 100mbps + cable TV for $49USD/mo, and a little more for a full home video surveillance package. All fully installed. 100mbps is a luxury here that most can't even get.
Once 5G gets cheap is their any reason people are going stay with NBN?
Having it nerfed by still using copper was such a stupid decision by the Libs. The hilarious part is this was promoted as future proof, fast and reliable and our new modern whiz bang solution.
