I just heard a rumour that Oscar Brownless is going to play for Sea Lake and Michael Hurley is going to be playing for Nullawil. Any truth in this?
 
Driscoll will be a great get for St Arnaud after the past season they had. Played Wimmera footy at Stawell for a couple of seasons wanted to coach but they went a different route so settled back in Geelong and then moved with work (teacher) up JR way and took on the coaching role up there with some decent success (yes and an open cheque book which can help) but brought them up from a bit of a rabble to a GF team. Handy footballer and a decent nous for coaching. Good to see St Arnaud have recruited/talked a few back into playing can't have them being so useless on field.

Hopefully old mate slagging Bourke off will be happier with this decision.

Not sure the NCFL is the place for a salary cap. It's their competitive advantage over some other leagues. Shouldn't restrict themselves when geography and population play against them.

The hub model offers them nothing, no clubs were even at the ill fated competition restructure. Were they even invited by AFLCV?

Might be time for the NCFL to ditch the hub and go it alone .....

Not sure salary caps should be in place anywhere anymore. If you can raise it spend it. If your club can’t sustain it then it dies. Natural attrition has always occurred

Tend to agree. Still a place for points system.

Although the hub should be offering more assistance to clubs to make sure its accurate. They then should be checking team lists and player history for accuracy, not happening at the moment.

Poor poor administration.
