Yep i reckon the Birchip nullyproof game would have been better than the blues crows game to watch, must have been a high standard game
Really good game of country footy by all accounts. Lions were down a man pretty much the whole game with Rocket Munro going down in the first 10 mins of the game. Hump was good in his return jagging 3.
But in the end it was the Bulls who took the chocolates... We'll put the cue in the rack now and wait for next year.

Early tips for this week
Sea Lake 140
Charlton 70
Birchip 40
Boort 15

Sea lake will show no mercy after 2 straight losses, full side. Saints will come out slow after a win.
Charlton will win quite easy
Birchip win comfortably. Wedderburn will struggle to score. Once Jensen is back they will compete
Boort to show why they are top of the table. Baddely Kelly to have 6 goals

Sea Lake - 75
Charlton - 75
Birchip - 30
Lions - 30

Sea Lake to get the job done but I expect the Saints to improve week on week.
Charlton will prove the better of the two and get back to 6th on the ladder
Birchip two big wins recently but the Burn are always a danger think this will be closer than might be expected
Lions to continue their improvement and keep themselves in with a Top 2 chance. Should be a cracker.

Ben Hogan
Koby Hommelhoff
Mitch Collins
Ben Xiriha

Huge win last week and flat as a tack today. Hard to rate any of the top sides just yet I reckon
Yep I think the thing is that Calder might just be starting to gel. Humphreys back a huge plus, coupled with good onballers they will continue to improve. Will be interesting as we get nearer the finals and teams start to stabilise as most teams are missing important players at the moment. Jensen at Redbacks sorely missed, the whisper out of the Burn is that he is one of the best recruits they have had for a few years.

If they are playing blokes what a fella told me today they are all in this year. $800 a week for a kid out of the Calder Cannons who hadnt played a senior game one example.

Wedderburn were ok today. Got within 4 points about 5 minutes into the last quarter and had the momentum. Palpratt whacked a bloke and got sent off and it was all bulls after that.
