im finding it impossible to get a read on the 3 QLD neafl sides......

watched Demons v GC..good game in great conditions. strong 2nd Qt from gc after the mother of all serves from Nigel Lappin and senior coach saw GC level things.the game was close from there.
2 very undisciplined acts from demons (1 from the captain!!) involving back chat to the umpire saw GC kick 2 goals
(both from the goal line) in the final 10 mins to win the game.
1 free kick was marched 100m FFS!
my view, as a demons supporter, was the free kicks were probably there. this game was there to be won by canberra and those acts of frustration cost the game.
when will players learn to say NOTHING to the men in green?

How close is this tipping ? We've had 50+ matches or so (Grimlock will tell us exactly !) and only four points separate first and last.

Sometimes Ally Craft, frustration gets the better of us all. - We have been known to spray our teammates when they make a big mistake, so why not the men in green, I don't mean every decision ONLY THE ONES THEY GUESS. AFL sides get the rub of the green IMO, Players don't swear at Umpires when they try to get it right. Most times the Umpires are too precious when it comes to the laws of the game (as they see it). Their influence on how 2 x 50mtr penalties can change a game of footy is huge, especially against the run of play!!!!!!!! The old 15mtr rule is plenty IMO, (I think it is still in down in South Australia).

Nice comment a few posts back above - I should have reaffirmed the "Duck Eggs since" not the other already actioned - interpreted.
 
My Tips for Round 14;

Southport: The Sharks are circling.
Redland: Another Duck "Egg" for the Land Locked Lads.
Swans: Solid all over the ground and after a week off watch out.
Aspley: Got to win this week or its all for nothing.
