This season appears to be heading South. The Dees ladder positions while Daniher has been senior coach are as follows:

1998: 4
1999: 14
2000: 2
2001: 11
2002: 6
2003: 14
2004: 7
2005: ?

The Demons have a very solid squad. I was wondering what you loyal Melbourne fans thought of Daniher. Do you feel you have had enough success during his time as coach? How many years does he have remaining on his contract, and do you feel he is the right man for the job?

03 was the first bad year I thought we had where ND really didn't have an excuse. If this year goes pear shaped then questions have to be asked. Hope he can get 'em up and firing again tho 'coz I like Neale.

The fact is schwartz summed him up the best. A great weekday coach but a hopeless gameday coach.

Its time for daniher to go.

Daniher is sh1t weekdays too. Look at recent selections and lack of dropping players. They need to start earning their spots. Daniher is good talking to the media. Tis all.

In fairness I don't think there's that many blokes at Sandy that could do any better than the majority of our foot soldiers.

I think Daniher is an exceptional coach and I wouldnt be writing your team off yet. The MFC is heading in a positive direction and I wouldnt let a couple of losses blur your thoughts on this. They are one of about 3-4 teams who can really give the premiership a shake.

Daniher is safe for the time being ;)

It's about time for a coach change. Regardless of what anyone thinks of Daniher it's clear we need a fresh start and a new game plan, you can only have so many years of the same thing without a flag before it becomes stale. Bring on Lyon.

I'd love to have Gary as coach. Daniher's signed on until end of 2007 though, which will be 10 years coaching the 1 club without a flag.
