Seriously did anyone give us a chance today????? NOPE did we give ourselves a chance???? MAYBE YES. MAYBE NO. But we did it. Today was a chance to salvage some pride from what has been somewhat of a shocking year, but seriously it was magnificant. the guys were great. BUT we almost stuffed it. i mean seriously another 5 minutes we could have lost it. Carlton got everything they deserved, and to win in front of 24,901 people, mostly carlton people was fantastic. WELL DONE DEMONS !!!!!!!!! this is the start of something special. i can feel it.......

Holly Crap..... that was BEAUTIFUL!
We killed them in the first half, and Neita did a great job on SOS.
I thought that they were gonna come out alot harder in the second half.... but everything they did we outdid them.
They wanted to win but we wanted to win more, they played well but we played better.
And although i was like dying in the last 2 mins i knew that we were not gonna let this one slip through our hands, we needed it and wanted it too much.
Watching the guys hug and smile and Neale getting in there and being praised by Schwarta was truely magnificant, and just like you dee_girl9 i think this is a start of a beautiful ending.....

I went and I have never been so happy!
But that last quarter I was just shaking my head. I knew we were going to loose it and it was not helped by pathetic umpiring. That 50 metre penalty was as weak as piss. But they held on and when Green got that goal, it was pure gold!
This could start a role!
Mind you it is an indication of a struggling side to nearly let go such a big lead. But who cares We WON!

Well we all expected Carlton to come hard in the second half, but still we managed to keep them at bay and WON!
